what an amazing experience to be so close to these majestic animals. A 3 1/2 hour trek through thick, steep, forest to able to spend an hour admiring & photographing . Definitely worth the permit cost US600. Just go!!!

A small piece of the jungle rainforest that Uganda is working hard to protect. It could be gone in my lifetime. This area is protected by Rangers with guns to keep poachers out.
