This is great nice park of a historic value for Ukraine. The territory is big and you need a full one day to stay and enjoy there. It is only 2 hours away from Kyiv so the tour can be done during a day.
Definitely you have to hire the tour people in order to get the history and some secret stories of this place.
The best season to come is definitely not winter but autumn and summer. So every months when the leaves are on the trees cause it is also a huge dendrological park.
For a pity the infrastructure is bad - no good restaurant on the territory and only small shops at the park entrance (nothing inside). But you can get your lunch or dinner afterwards in some good restaurants in Uman itself.
What is really good - the New part of Sofiyivka that was recently constructed and you have to visit it also for sure!

I love this park, one of the best parks in Ukraine. Be sure to take a guide, because they tell a lot of interesting things. And there is something to tell about this park. Be sure to swim on the river Styx - it's an unforgettable experience. There are places where you can drink and eat. There are toilets. You can walk all day

Very nice park. You need a day here. Relaxing, nice and tidy. If you want to relax in good and relaxing surroundings, this park is a excellent choice. Entrance 50 hryvnia.

The Park, created for Sophia, wife of one of the graphs Potocky
is situated in a nice, tree-covered creek. Nice tracks, pools, statues etc. which you can find in many natural parks all around the world. I do not reccommend to travel to Uman just for this Park...

One of my favorite places to visit in Uman whenever I am on vacation. Park has huge area to explore, for the locals it’s the place of spending time with family, friends, lovers. It has own energy. Place is clean and green, for those who are not living in Uman has to proceed with the tickets( honestly do not remember the price). On weekends or public holidays park is crowded. This place is unique as it has rich flora and fauna world. As well on the lakes you can see many swans and feeding is allowed. Squirrels, birds, dugs are waiting for you there. On the main alley paintings and souvenirs can be purchased. Has car parking area. Main three entrances. Tour service is available as well. Must visit in Uman

Beautiful place to visit with a family and for couples. You can get a horse ride or electric car trip, underground boat trip and amazing view to lake, fountains and waterfalls.

We visited this park maybe more than 10 times and each time when we go from Odessa to Kiev, we try to stop here and wonder around for a couple of hours.
Since there is nothing more to do in Uman, consider spending here at least 3 to 5 hours.

The park is beautiful, well maintained and a must-see for anyone wanting to venture outside of Kiev. The 2.5 hour drive is really worthwhile and the roads are in decent shape. Spent an entire day wondering though the various gardens and water features and could easily have spend longer. Will be back soon. Recommended.

Здравствуйте, планируем поездку в парк 13 июня.
Будем проездом, скажите пожалуйста где недалеко можно оставить чемоданы?
Будем с ребенком 4 года,она с маленьким самокатом (по другому никак,так как по другому эту малышку туда не завлечь). Подскажите у нас не будет проблем на входе с самокатом?

Парк работает круглый год, просто плата за вход взымается с 8.00 до 18.00, если не ошибаюсь

Впускают ли в парк с электросамокатом? Ребёнку 3 года, не привык много ходить, для коляски уже взрослый, не хочется, чтобы прогулка превратилась в сплошное нытьё?)

Впускают, конечно, без проблем. На месте у главного входа можно взять прокат, можно пройти и со своим.
