If you are looking for quite, calm place, this is Bozcada aka Tenedos island that you are looking for. Pros; Wines, Grape Juices, Cheese, Oil olives are homemade for this little island they are really good with that. Probably one the cheapest places if you compares it other tourisitic areas. You can reach everything altough its an island. Its small island that from east to west its 1 hour to walk. ( 7 km ) Sea is brilliant! Shiny! One of the best in Turkey if you compare looks. Günbatımı is really good place, you should see there if you are at the island. MadamElenies Breakfast was best so i really advise you that, go there and ask for breakfast. Habbele beach is one of they cozy place to swim. We went there daily basis and we were their visitors about 7-8 hours for a day. So this place also can cook and make you a perfect coffee with their Gloria Jeans experience. Their management and team are cool and always friendly. Cons; Sea is cold… Not just cold, freezing tho. But you are get used to it if you really wanna swim in that shiny water! Ah one more thing… Sea Urchins, we went to swim other than Hebbele beach and we encountered them. They are really hurt your feet or leg so becareful with them. So if you don’t wanna pay 50$ daily to Habbele beach ( 4 people with eating and swimming ), you really need to becareful with those little guys, probably island was their mating zone lol.Visited June 2022Traveled with familyWritten July 22, 2022

The entire island is full of like minded peaceful people freely doing things they like doing unlike the rest of the country. Sea is amazingly clear a bit cool there are very nice beaches though they get a bit crowded best if you have a car to find your own cove. The town is full of cafes and restaurants serving any taste and desire with common attitude: friendly this island if in the neighborhood must be on the list. the wines they sell no longer from the grapes they grow on the island. grapes come from the Turkey. there are excellent selection all reasonably priced.Visited August 2020Traveled as a coupleWritten August 30, 2020

But once you arrive the island you will see that it worths! You can experience wine tasting, fish and rakı, mezeses, perfect cookies. We wondered around the port and the streets it's just so beautiful, lovely friendly people. We got on the bus and went to the other side of the island another WOW, the beach was beautiful you could have been in the Caribbean, Bozcaada is a hidden gem the Thomson Spirit is the only cruise ship to go there, visit soon you won't be disappointed :-)Visited June 2015Written August 5, 2015

- JonStark2014Adelaide, Australia56 contributionsBozcaada IslandIf you are staying in Canakkale, you may wish to check out the nearby island of Bozcaada, formerly Tenedos. You can catch a mini-bus from the town of Canakkale for approximately one hour, followed by a ferry across to the island. The return bus trip is about $10 and the return ferry trip is another $6. Although the island has a permanent population of only 2-3000, the number expands considerably in the summer. There are plenty of places to wine and dine on the island. They have lots of interesting shops and stalls, beaches and good sunsets. It has a great atmosphere and is a nice place to spend a relaxing few days.Visited September 2014Traveled as a coupleWritten September 24, 2014
- bdon257Morpeth, United Kingdom4,987 contributionsMaiden visit by thomson SpiritWe visited Bozcaada on our cruise as it was the ships maiden visit to this port. It is a lovely island with lots of character around the main town, which is dominated by a dramatic castle overlooking the port. Restaurants and cafes line the main streets and around the fishing harbour. The rest of the small town warrants exploration with quiet streets with many small guest houses and hotels tucked away off the main areas. Local tour buses were available to see the remainder of this compact island but we were happy just ambling around the harbour castle and streets a couple of local wineries are in the town and are open to visit.Visited May 2015Traveled as a coupleWritten May 19, 2015

This is the second time I visit this stunning island with my friends, such a beautiful island, the center has many cute small hotels, restaurants and cafes along with many nice shops, the beaches are clean and beautiful, the sea water is clear and so refreshing, this time I spent 2 relaxing days which I have enjoyed fully, highly recommended and I will definitely visit again.

Acquaint, beautiful town with innumerable restaurants, coffee bars and wine outlets. Sit on the harbour, in the town, in the square, all lovely.
Good prices high, all Turkish food, no Greek food anywhere. Don't believe Google Maps when searching for Greek restaurants, there are none.
Try the fish in bread, cheap and tasty.
Look in the side streets for the 'mum & pop' restaurants, the ones with many cooked dishes and self service. Great taste and cheap.
Buy your wines from the wine outlets in the square.

Lovely town with a harbour and a castle. Plenty of places to eat. The ferry from Geyikli ( Turkey) docks right in the town. Loads of tourist shops.

İstanbuldan özel araçla mı? Gidilse uygun olur

Emin Murat Keskin

Ben arabayla gitmeyi tercih ettim.

Trisha, thanks for the review, we are visiting Bazcaada next week or the week after and are looking forward to seeing the island. My question to you is not about the island but about Thomson Spirit, we have booked a Deluxe Cabin on Decks 6-8, can you tell me if there are Tea/ Coffee making facilities in your cabin, some reviews I've read say yes some no, I don't want to take our travel kettle to make a brew if the facilities are already there.
Thanks for your help.
Paul.

Merhaba eğer denize girme düşünceniz yok ve kısa süreli bir tatil ise arabasız da gidilebilir.hızlıca ada turu yapan dolmuşlar da var.zaten merkezde heryer yürüme mesafesi.
