The waterfall will take your breath away with its natural beauty and is something truly exceptional to behold. It is easily accessible, about 200m walk from the parking. Can get a bit crowded though. There is also picnic facilities near the falls to make the visit even more worthwhile for the price paid.

Truly majestic. Not a huge size however the position and how it flows creates some tranquil feeling. A few more trails around the falls would make it even greater. We saw it 10 years ago, but guess what, feels like it is new

Lone Creek is one of the most beautiful waterfalls I had ever seen. The waterfalls is the tallest in Mpumalanga and can be seen from a distance as you take a short hike to the falls. The water is super cold but soaking is all worth it.

For natural beauty these falls are always amazing and should get 5 stars.

However one must look at the total experience so that everyone is aware of what has happened here.

The access road has been left to deteriorate to the extent that there are more potholes than road. Not sure why this has been left to get so bad!!!

We have been visiting this area for over 30 years and have never seen it in such a poor state of repair. Considering when we fist visited these waterfalls and natural views there was no entrance fee and everything was in pristine condition.

Considering you now have to pay to see all the waterfalls and natural views on the Panorama Route where does the money go??

The falls themselves are worth the visit, but again now access has been stopped to get close to the falls and you cannot swim in the pool anymore! The steps to the lookover point have also gone so bad you cannot get there and appreciate the true vista of these falls.

What a disgrace!!!!!

Terrible road, mostly potholes. Too much water over the falls so you cannot get a decent picture. You get drenched by the falls as you get anywhere near it, especially over the walking bridge near the base of the falls. From the parking area you can see only the top of the falls and take a photo. The entrance fee is now R36 per person and in my opinion is too much for what you see, the time it takes to drive there and the wear and tear on the vehicle.

This is by far the best waterfal in Mpumalanga. A beautiful short walk through indigenous forest and one can see this stunning 68m high waterfall. One could even walk a small circle route and even have a swim in the pool below the fall. I find it very pricy!!!

We cycled the Blue 25km route from Merry Pebbles and it includes the falls. We were lucky as the falls were in full flow. The area has some nice look out points to take photos and a fun "picture frame" to take a shot. There is a short walkway through a foresty area before you get to the falls which one needs to be careful as its quite damp and can be slippery. Worth the trip, was a pretty stop!

Your first view of the Lone Creek Waterfall, a single ribbon of water dropping down into the forest, is from the parking lot. And then its a short walk through a verdant indigenous forest to a Ta-Dah reveal of the pool at the base of the waterfall.
Not to be missed.

The road to the waterfall is not so nice, but any type of vehicle can drive up to the waterfall.
The waterfall and the path to the waterfall are absolutely amazing. I will stop at this place every week if I was living there. Wow, wow, wow

This is a site to be behold. It's got the feel of Victoria falls. For some funny reason it's off the trodden track but more than worth the effort. It's up a hill so fitness though not a requirement will help. About 15 minutes from the park. There's also a braai park so one can spend half a day or longer.
