For whatever reason we never visited Cala Comte on past visits to Ibiza, but we made sure we got there this year. And, it's all it's cracked up to be. Of course, parking here is atrocious so if can take a taxi and get dropped off that's much, much better. When you arrive, you have a choice of two separate beaches. A smaller, pointed shaped beach to your left as you descend down the steps of the beach bar/restaurant, or to your right to slightly longer stretch of beach. Both are exceptionally nice, and offer areas where you can wade into the water without stepping on any jagged rocks. Some chairs and umbrellas can be rented on the right side beach, but it's better to bring your own umbrella and towels and get your spot in the sand early. By noon this place was very crowded on a Monday, and it stayed that way throughout the afternoon. Between the two stretches of beach there is a very nice restaurant that offers sit down service and features a small gift shop and bathrooms in the rear.

I strongly suggest wearing good beach shoes here if you plan to walk or climb on any of the rock formations. I watched a few brave souls suffer as they attempted to do this in bare feet. And, although you must walk down to these beaches it is an easy descent and nothing like Cala Tarida or Aigues Blancas which feature steep descents. This beach tends to attract a younger crowd and has a friendly, good vibe to it. Along with Cala Bassa and Ses Salines it's now one of our favorite beaches on Ibiza.

Cala Comte was a beautiful beach, but it was very crowded. We took a cab there from Old Town Ibiza, and it was about 30-35 minutes and about 40 Euro. We went on a Saturday around 5, got a spot on the VERY crowded beach, and eventually was able to move up and get front row on the sand for the beach. Once the sun completely sets, everyone claps....just gives you chills just thinking about it? eh? :) Explore around here...theres a few different beaches (even a nudist beach with the CUTEST bar built into the side of the wall). Be mindful that you'll have to bring a cab number with you if you plan on taking a cab from Cala Comte. We were able to call one and it came shortly, but we did have a small moment of panic thinking we would be stuck there as it was getting pretty dark. Also, just be mindful that at times, in certain areas, the water can be rough. Overall, I'd go again. The sunset was beautiful, and we BYO rose, cups, and snacks for the "event".

Stunning sunsets!
I have travelled to a lot of places but have never experienced such a stunning sunset as here.
We went in August and found crystal clear warm waters to swim in while while the sun is setting. There are some rocky parts that you can explore too.
A definite must to visit.

When the sun is out the views are awesome! Azure blue waters, islands, lonely yacht - it’s like a Paradise bay ! The beach is small but nice.

There are two restaurants which charge big prices due to the location. In one of the restaurants there is also a typical Ibiza souvenir shop.

There is a free parking lot a 5 min walk.

This a very beautiful bay/beach so if you can, stop over.

Beautiful beach, the colors are amazing. We took the bus from St Antonio, recommend to going along a little bit the rocky path to take some amazing pictures. There are two sides of the beach, one had jelly fish and was windy, the other one was pretty ok. It got very sunny, need to find shade and use good sunscreen. Restaurants there were overpriced, do not recommend, bring your own snacks!

A beautiful beach. Warm turquoise water and soft sand. Not a whole lot of real estate on the beach itself. A number of "caves" a little higher up from the beach where many people would hang out (caves being large enough indents in the weathered sand stone to where you could sit and/or lay down).

I didn't look very close to see what was offered, but there was one or two restaurants/bars to buy food and drinks.

I arrived around 1PM and the beach was already super crowded. I was fortunate enough to get a parking spot in one of the free parking areas (not regulated, dirt parking lots) a couple hundred meters away from the beach. I was also fortunate enough to find a decent size spot to plop down two towels and two small umbrellas.

Definitely a popular place for locals and tourists alike. I recommend getting there earlier in the day to secure a parking spot and a nice spot on the beach.

Fabulous beach if a little crowded. Beach bar excellent with great service. Sunset worth waiting for although the sun dies go down behind a huge rock in the sea.

Breathtakingly stunning beach with crystal clear water, views of Es Vedra, spotted with yachts and lots of sun beds with parasols to rent for the day.
This year is quieter for everything and although we arrived by 10.30, we were lucky to get the last two sun beds and parasol, so go early unless you are happy to camp on the sand.
Well worth a visit to this little gem.

Totally found by chance and has turned into favourite spot on island. The corner beach under Sunset Ashram is just wonderfully the rock formation means the sea comes in from two different directions making wonderful play in waves in the clear blue water. Swimming in and around little fish my son loved it. Spectacular place most wonderful views.
