It is a small temple in Tachilek coloured green and gold. Tachilek is a small border town in Shan State sitting opposite of Mae Sai in Thailand. We visited this temple on our tuk-tuk tour through Tachilek.

Visited on part of a one hour tuk-tuk tour of the sights during a day trip from Thailand. This was the least interesting of the 3 temples visited but still helped enhance the trip across the border. The tuk-tuk ride cost 300 baht to visit 3 temple sights around town.

Since Tachileik is a really small town by the border of Myanmar & Thailand, this temple also constitute as one of the attractions in town. It is small and peaceful and located strategically in the middle of the town. It is also a place for your to offer some prayers and take some pictures for remembrance.

It was nice place and peaceful visit there. It was easy to visit by Tuk Tuk or motorbike. Not far from border check point.

You can get here with a very cheap tuk tuk ride from the border. It is really a unique temple and worth having a look. I also did not get hassled by people trying to sell things like everywhere else I visited in Myanmar. I would recommend stopping here, it will not take long to see.

Again, something to do if you have made effort to cross border into Myanmar, but much more interesting temples to visit

Take a tuk-tuk here from outside the bridge and border gate, it is at the base of the hill leading up to Shwedagon replica pagoda. Some annoying vendors around the temple. Nothing special really unless you haven't seen a temple before.

Comparatively small, but kind of different temple. Not a very touristy place. Best to book a tuk.-tuk and ask the driver to show you the most "interesting" parts of the otherwise boring city
