The palace was built under a french influence in a perfect place with a wide view to the bay. The best time to visit is definitely when the sea is high tide - sun will reflect golden waters - a must see place in São Luis!

Interesting place - not much is left of the French influence in Brazil, so this was interesting to see. There were quite a few French tourists visiting as well

It's an impressive building in the main area of town to visit with a couple other interesting buildings to check out.

Specially if you come from Europe, I really don´t expect you to be surprised inside. Only few rooms are available for visiting. It´s free though, so it´s worth to spend 15 minutes there and get to check one more item in your bucket list ;)
