I was in Madrid for business travel and decided to make a trip to Lanzarote for some sailing. Contact a few sailing school and Stephanie from Endeavour Sailing was very prompt in her reply to many questions I had. I had decided to take the Yachtmaster Coastal Prep and exam. Upon my arrival I was giving the assignment to plan my passage from Swanwick Marina (Hamble River) to Roscoff Marina North Brittany. 190NM passing Needles Channel. Marie was the instructor for the YM Coastal Prep. The 5 intense day training was myself and I had Billy as my Competent Crew during the week. Marie covered many of the skills required berthing, unberthing, close quarter manoeuvre, spring out stern/bow, anchoring/mooring under sail/motor, reefing, heave to, MOB sail/motor simulation Engine failure, blind navigation etc. Had to prepare my safety briefing, engine run through, use of radar, chart plotter, etc. Exam was conducted by John and he pleasant tested these skills and did an engine failure at night sailing into the marina and docking. Over all the week was packed with sailing and night time need to prepare the briefing assignment and working on the passage plan. Exam ended into the wee hour of the Morning. Stay on Kerry for the duration and highly recommended.

I was lucky enough to complete both Competent Crew and Day Skipper Practical as well as the shore-based VHF course with Endeavour in May 2022. With a switch of boats halfway through, I got to experience two of Keith and Stephanie's Bavaria 37's which are great (and quite forgiving) vessels. With a range of experience amongst the crews (completing different trainings) and first class instruction from excellent instructors, the learning was extensive and went way beyond the syllabus. The booking and administration was a joy - even when our plans had to change as a result of visa issues. I cannot recommend the team highly enough - a stunning experience all round and I will certainly be returning.

Did the competent crew course and loved it. Our instructor Ashley was a gem. We learnt and did loads more than just the syllabus. A very patient, kind and thoughtful teacher. Also great company and a pleasure to spend 5 days with. Thank you also to Steph and Keith and everyone involved!

Just finished a fantastic week of training for my RYA Day Skipper Practical with Endeavour Sailing and I really can't recommend them enough. We stayed on Kusuru, a Bavaria 37 which was very comfortable and extremely well looked after and sea-worthy. Our instructor, Silvi had a real passion for her job and covered everything with real clarity and enthusiasm. She created a really supportive learning environment which meant that everyone, no matter what their abilities at the start, finished having learned a colossal amount. Thank you Endeavor and thank you Silvi. What an unforgettable week. Can't wait to get the boat back in the water back in Scotland now so we can put our new skills into practice.

I contacted Endeavour after asking for recommendations on a FB sailing group and felt like I had struck gold! This is a seriously slick operation which really does have customer interests at heart. I completed the week long Coastal Skipper whilst my wife did the Competent Crew course. Clean modern Bavaria 37 boat, exceptionally knowledgeable instructor who had bags of patience topped off with a week of great sailing conditions. Comms from start to finish were faultless, they provided Covid safe reassurance and arranged the predeparture testing for us; nothing was too much trouble. The marina they operate out of is large enough to have well equipped shoreside facilities but small enough to make you feel almost a local in the bars and restaurants after just a few nights. I could carry on but I think you will have the gist of my review now! Ten out of ten.
