Having read all the TA articles on Domaine Paul Blanck, I decided to add a visit to this Domaine as I was intrigued to learn whether all the glowing reviews were really true. Yes. This was an experience to remember and cherish. Due to a problem in their tasting room, we were taken and seated in their parents' house front... More

They have a nice selection of representative Alsatian wines. Our server was very friendly and informative. We were there right before they were expecting a large group but his still took time for us. The wine was very good. We took a bottle home.

After being caught in a summer down pour in Kayserberg, we stopped by Domaine Paul Blanck for a tasting completely soaked! We were warmly received in the tasting room, and tasted through the line-up. Tasting room staff spoke excellent English, Phillip Blanck came through as well and had a brief chance to talk to him about the winery. Wines are... More

Domaine Paul Blanck is mentioned in Jancine Robinson's 'World Atlas of Wine'. This in itself makes it a winery one should visit when travelling the Alsace Wine Route. From the main road it is easy enough to find, driving into the centre of the town, and parking is equally easy in front of the building or down the road. We... More

Very good quality to price ratio, which we have enjoyed, especially Pinot Gris, and Riesling. Usually fragrant, fruity with dryness.

Best winery visit by far in Alsace. Phillippe is truly charismatic, wine passionate guy and the most importante, love sharing his knowlegde about alsacian wines, lecturing and drinking along with visitors, in a spontaneous and joyful way. My wife and me had wonderful and unique experience in this winery. Congrats Phillippe! merci beaucoup.

We went on to taste some 16 withs all with detailed knowledge of where thet were grown and how they were made. This was a great morning of enjoyment and learning a great amount about how soil... After reading a recommendation from a magazine, we visited this tranquil little town mainly for Paul Blanck and we were not disappointed. The host was very friendly and guided us through many of their wines. Even we confirmed our purchase, he still offered us some very nice late harvest wines. We bought their Furstentum Riesling and Gewurztraminer Grand Crus and... More

This was really the best wine cellar we visited in the region. Just across from our hotel, we decided to try last as the last winery for the day and I am so glad we did! The entry is cute with beautifully carved wine barrels inside. Some wineries seem annoyed when you ask for tasting, but here they welcomed us... More
