We took our two year old grandson to this park and hoped he would enjoy it despite his age. We needed a pushchair as it is a long walk for little legs and challenging for older ones as the path is loose stones and quite...More
Went hear with our 7 year old Son, interesting place taking you through a historic time line from the Dinosaurs to early man. Lots of exhibits of dinosaurs that I had not heard of previously. Information boards at each exhibit were in both French and...More
We stumbled across this place whilst holidaying in the Dordogne region, and our three girls (11, 6, 2) really enjoyed it. Admission fee is reasonable, and there is a snack bar there, but with limited choice so you might be best taking a picnic.
We came here whilst on holiday in the Dordogne with a Dino-mad 3 year old and 5 year old. The entrance fee was very reasonable (free for under 5s). Lots and lots of models to look at in a lovely setting (lots of up and...More
Nice place set in a lovely forrest, but, umm got to be honest the dinosaurs are ok at best and the various stages of monkey developing into man are bad, some are shocking!! The Megalosaurus is good but if your expecting Jurassic park you'll be...More
We had a lovely day out here lots of.dinosaurs. the prehistoric village was interesting. The children loved the rock painting. We didn't pay extra for the go ape type facility but it looked quite good. Entrance fees were extremely reasonable. Would.recommemd.
However, the "easy tour" mentioned in the flyer could lead people with disabilities to think they can take it. The first rocky 15% slope might prove them wrong.
Note that no refund was offered when I turned back after 5mn of visit.
A number of comments have been made about the inaccuracies of the models but I think this criticism is misplaced. Our grandchildren aged 7,5 and 2 enjoyed the visit, particularly the animated models. We didn't expect an absolutely accurate depiction of the creatures on display....More
On leaving Rocamadour last year we noticed this but we were too late to go in so promised ourselves we would visit this year. It was quite a hot day when we arrived. We thought that the kids would love it, we have a 4...More
This is a nice place to go on a hot day. The shade of the ravine keeps the worst of the sun out. The characters build are for the most part really good, and the signs detailing the exhibitions are quite good as well. A...More
