It is very beautiful and our guide was excellent. She presented in both English and French, explaining the different features of the caves. It was very dark and slippery in places so be careful. This was my first and last cave visit during this trip....More

It closes between 12 and 2 daily for lunch even in August when we visited. After that hundreds of people are waiting to board the overcrowded train before you get out and walk. Yes, the stalactites and stalagmites are beautifully strange but given that multiple...More

I highly recommend this tour. A fantastic cave interestingly highlighted with smart lights making a beautiful show to see. It is true that for non french speakers, a little more effort should be done for them to equally appreciate the guided tour.

Had a very good afternoon. Plenty of parking and places to eat and drink all at reasonable prices. The trip into the caves was very interesting and our guide Pauline was informative and fun. As with all natural phenomena like this there is some difficult...More

We first visited Lacave back in 2014 so as we were travelling with a friend, we decided to revisit. It was as good if not better than we remembered before. First there's the excitement of the train from entrance to the caves, then the oddity...More

We enjoyed the caves, but there is only so much looking at stalactites and stalagmites we can cope with. It's about 2 hours long, the tour is obviously given in French (except for the request for a tip!!) but audio headsets in various languages are...More

As mentioned before. This one is worth visiting. Visit takes more than hour and may become tiresome. Views are great however very repetitive - like every cave. Lines occur but they’re not so terrible.

Beautiful and pleasant place to see. If you like walking and to learn about stalactites and stalagmites, there is quite a lot to see there. Firstly you get a small train in the way down and then a nice and gentle guide will show you...More

no. there are lots of steps some are very steep. with the dampness in the cave places are slippy so for me even carrying a baby could be tricky. there are also places where you need to duck your head.
