The entrance & courtyard is remarkable, made out of white stones brought from Midyat. It is a community mosque, well-respected and used by locals very frequently.

The entry to this mosque is magnificent. If you are in Mardin, it is well worth the few minutes it will take to locate this place and admire the beauty of the carving, both at the entry as well as the courtyard fountain.
