visited the mountains in the company of a local walking group. drove above Finestrat to park up and start the walk. There are numerous well marked routes through the hills with different degrees of difficulty. There do not seem to be many documents available for visitors, but perhaps I just missed them. We took a circular route of medium difficulty... More

If this mountain were to be compared to a set of teeth, it would have one tooth missing. Such is the shape of the gap in its outline. The area around the mountain gives plenty of opportunity for easy and strenuous walks, many of which are explained on the Internet. Most start at Font de Moli, just north of the... More

The place is quite pricy but it worth it! The lobster paella or rice plate is super delicious! And don't forget to try a salad with oranges, strawberries, and lobster! Mmm! Must reserve on a weekend. Great place on the seaside!

Reach the top of the mountain after several hours climbing. Amazing views of Calpe and the Alicante region, great weather, stunning setting. Descent is pretty hard though, and long.

This is the place to make you feel a million dollars. Pricier than all the other restaurants, but this reflects in the silver service waiting on, the luxurious atmosphere and the enormous portions of well-cooked and varied dishes. One for a special night out. Lovely views of the bay, eat outside and watch the fishing boats late at night. Don't... More

My route was from the La Nucia side. Coming from Alfaz, take the exit just before the long uphill righthander towards La Nucia. The road goes off on the right but then a double left and under the main road. Continue on this road past Convent Les Monges, go straight and hold a slight right when the road turns left... More

You can either take the trail around Puig Campana, about 3.5 hours, or go all the way to the top. You can reach the top either from the back (take the trail around to the back, and then up) or go up the ravine. Very steep, but quick (1 hr). The view from the top is magnificient, on clear days...
