This walk is in need of proper sign posts. It is ridiculous to go on a walk without any markings or signs. Whoever owns, hosts, runs this needs to get there act together. My husband and I could If ended up dead in the woods...More

We were looking for a short walk close to home as the rain was forecast for the afternoon. There were many clearly marked routes around the crag, it had been raining and so was very muddy! We made it to the too in time to...More

This is a lovely walk, not too strenuous, culminating in views from the summit across Morecambe Bay in one direction and towards the Lancashire/Yorkshire Hills in another direction. Just 10 minutes from the M6 and with a large car park at the foot of the...More

A pleasant walk that starts in the trees by the free car park and goes up the crag. Not arduous and fabulous views of Morecambe bay. Depending on your route, there are many; the way back can be through the leafy lanes, a very restful...More

We love this walk, we have kids aged 5-11 and they all love it, we normally take the dog and picnic and eat it at the top while looking at the views. Parking is free

Great walk which ever way you go up and wonderful views of the Bay from the top. No obvious paths on the maps but lots of paths and routes up to follow on the ground. Good for butterflies in summer.
