Thanks to Simon and Ellen for a great session with fire and food. Really well organised and safety conscious, but with a relaxed approach to ensure a fun experience for all. My girls are very keen to try the bannock bread when we camp.

I took a group of 8 young people who were extremely enthusiastic and full of energy due to the activities that were on offer and how they were delivered. The staff are very experieinced in delivering the great outdoor activities on offer in a very child friendly way. The range of activities on offer were excellent and the young peopel were not forced into anything, it was all child driven.

If you're looking to get your kids off their screens for a while, and out of the house for some interactive fun, then you've got to try this. I enrolled my 8 year old on a 'Forest Camp' day which gives kids a first hand outdoor experience under the watchful eye of Simon, a highly qualified outdoor specialist, and his leaders-All DBS checked. Starting at 10.00am and finishing at 3.00pm I togged my son up for all kinds of weather with layers, walking boots, and waterproofs. Although a little overdressed for the day, this was his first time and at least he was prepared!! My son had an amazing time learning about how we must respect and protect our forest environment-not just for the safety of wildlife, but for ourselves too. Coming back with quirky phrases such as 'Don't pick or lick it' as well as building dens, making 'dragons breath' bracelets, and baking bread camp-fire style, he really had a stimulating time. Older kids can learn about making fires and using tools safely and respectfully too. This style of learning is fantastic for inspiring our youngsters to challenge themselves within a controlled learning environment. By providing them with essential life skills such as problem solving and teambuilding, it promotes happy confident and responsible individuals. With all that fresh air, most importantly what Simon does the best is to make the great outdoors interesting, interactive and fun. Thanks for such a great day and you will definitely see us again soon.
