Great village with an amazing arts festival going on. Lots to see and do even though it was the pre-festival weekend.

Have read a lot about Saltaire and its history, so was nice to experience the village, it must have been a great place to live for workers compared with conditions elsewhere. Did the historic trail on a leaflet and had a stroll by canal

Saltaire is a delightful place dominated by Salts Mill the houses were built to accommodate the workers under Quaker rules which meant no alcohol; but drink was available in nearby Shipley and Bingley. Worth a visit.

Almost out of the Hovis advert, Saltaire Village is clean , hilly and gorgeous. You can almost smell the history of the industrial revolution and the wealth of the North in bygone days. We were extremely luck to have visited on a dry, bright day...More

I was a Dragonboat Racer for the Shipley Fox at the Lord Mayor's appeal, Thousands of people attended an amazing event in Roberts Park, Saltaire. Thousands of pounds raised for charity, too.

some venues will be open - check Salts Mill website and Saltaire News website, too. bars etc will be open as normal. if the weather is good the park, canal and up to the glen will all be great for walks etc. Enjoy!
