From the moment we were picked up at the Rome airport until we were returned to a hotel in Rome our 7 days in the Umbria region was filled with unforgettable moments provided by Mike. Mike handled everything from transportation, hotel, daily itineraries (which we were heavily involved in choosing), delicious meals and attention to the smallest details during every moment of our stay. I would find it hard to do this region without an Italian speaking guide as the visits to small towns and eating at various restaurants would have been difficult communicating one's needs. Mike was available 24/7 to help us with any issue and always asked for our feedback on what more he could do to provide exactly what we wanted or needed.
I had some mobility issues during this trip and Mike and his driver, Diego, made sure to accommodate me in any way possible which made my trip so much more enjoyable.
I cannot recommend Mike's services highly enough to make your trip to this area one that you will never forget.

We (2 couples) did a one week tour of Umbria region with Mike and Italy Adventures in October. We have traveled all of the world and have a lot of experience with travel guides and groups. Without a doubt this is the best trip/vacation we have ever taken! Mike worked closely with us from our first inquiry through booking, planning, and every day of the trip. Every day was an adventure to another town/region of Umbria. We toured fascinating towns, learned about the history of the area, saw amazing churches, museums, castles, etc. often having local guides accompany us to give us local knowledge. Our base hotel in Spello was fantastic with wonderful views of the surrounding land and hills. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day were unbelievable, always at local establishments that used local recipes with local produce. Mike was the perfect host, along with our fantastic driver Diego. I highly recommend this trip to everyone!

Italy!Adventures delivered on all its promises. After having toured Italy’s most noted cities (Venice, Florence, and Rome) a number of years ago, we wanted to experience Italy up close and off the beaten path, so we chose the I!A’s Hidden Gems tour. Our tour group of four thoroughly enjoyed the special personal attention of Italy!Adventure’s staff, the services of our driver who safely and expertly negotiated the narrow streets designed more for Medieval carts than for modern automobiles, the knowledgeable guides in each of the hill towns visited, and the outstanding selection of restaurants and wineries in which we dined and sipped. The staff paid attention to every detail, down to delivering fresh-baked croissants for us to enjoy with our morning coffee, and helping us make good choices from the menus of wonderfully authentic neighborhood restaurants. We enjoyed our visits to six hill towns and, through the presentations of the local guides, got a flavor and sense of the unique history of each one. Topping off the week-long experience was the wonderful dinner cooked for the four of us by a local chef and served to us on a beautiful terrace overlooking the valley below Spello. It was a trip of a life time.

We had a spectacular tour of Umbria under the expert guidance of Italy!Adventures. Exactly as advertised, we saw Italian life and culture in the hill towns of Umbria. While that alone would have been sufficient for a great vacation, it was only the foundation of our experience. The guides were able to convey the history and culture of the towns and capable of answering all of our questions. The food, whether provided in restaurants or on the Italy!Adventures terrace, was authentic and wonderful. But most important, Mike and his colleagues were always careful to understand our preferences and customize the tour with them in mind. When we needed to extend our trip a couple of days, they accommodated us with an even more customized itinerary. It would be difficult to imagine a better experience!

It was a real pleasure to welcome you and your spouse for a tour of Umbria. We were glad to be able to add additional days so you could see some of Tuscany. as well. I am also pleased that you liked all of the tour guides and the great food and wine.

My wife and friends had the pleasure of utilizing Italy! Adventures for a trip to and around Umbria in October. Mike Laudick (owner) is the ultimate professional and nailed every detail of the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as we discovered the "old" Italy. Mike and his staff are extremely attentive to their guests and we highly recommend Italy! Adventures.

Italy!Adventures takes customized travel to the highest level! Their goal is to make your trip smooth and memorable and they exceeded all expectations. The small group, with our own delightful driver, Diego, and personal attention from Mike certainly made our trip a memorable one. We would recommend the Hidden Gems tour which truly immerses one into the villages of Umbria.

I can say this trip was perfection! From the second we inquired about making our reservations to the time we left the Umbria region every detail was taken care of. Our party of 4 was taken to the “real” Italy. Mike (the owner) had arrangements made for every day with the best restaurants and tours to make our trip the most memorable it could be. Mike is a fantastic host and knows so much about the region. We never had to worry about the Italian language as he is fluent and able to help with menus, purchases etc. Our Driver was wonderful and I felt safe every minute. Our base hotel in Spello was beautiful with outstanding views. Mike made arrangements to meet what we wanted to do, so it is not a cookie cutter tour like so many others. If you want the trip of a lifetime I would not hesitate to book with Mike and Italy! Adventures!

We had the most exciting trip exploring the villages of Spello, Umbria and Trevi. Mike Laudick tailors his tours to under 10 people which allows for more personal attention. We dined on fine food with the locals and sampled plenty of local wines. Our driver and tour guides were top notch. If you planning a trip to the Umbria area, I definitely recommend Italy! Adventures

This was my first trip to Italy and it surpassed all expectations! Italy!Adventures had wonderful guides who gave educational and informative tours and Diego, our driver, delivered us safely to all locations.
Mike, our host, handled every detail from beginning to end which just added to the wonderful experience. Would highly recommend using Italy!Adventures! I

Wow! This was my first trip to Italy and it was a vacation of a lifetime. Italy Adventures planned my trip with lots of care and attention to detail. They translated restaurant menus and took me all around Italy. They let me focus just on enjoying myself. They handled all of the details and their service was absolutely top notch.
