About Sagrantino Wine Excursions
Join us for a day of wine tasting in Umbria, the green heart of Italy. Small groups of wine lovers visit local wineries, along the beautiful Sagrantino Wine Road in Montefalco. We also offer our Sagrantino Cooking course, at the home of an olive oil producer. Traditional recipes for our lunch are made with seasonal, provincial ingredients, including the house extra virgin olive oil, accompanied by wines from the Sagrantino wine appellation.

Brenda and Doreen our excursion leaders were so charming and knowledgeable. The 2 americans are charming and very knowledgeable about wine (both are sommeliers that did their courses in italian!) and the area. They know the locals so you will see and eat what tourist never get. They pick you up and drop you off safely. The price includes 2 winery visits and lunch. Thank you girls you are dolls!

We thoroughly enjoyed our private tour of the smaller wineries in central Umbria guided by Brenda in a comfortable air-conditioned van. Brenda, a 10-year resident of the region and sommelier, was able to translate information provided by the wineries during our guided tours. We so much enjoyed our first day-long tour, complete with a delicious lunch with wine pairings served at a smaller winery, that we asked Brenda to design a second one-day tour of other smaller wineries in the region. That tour was as delightful as the first. Both were 4.5 star excursions. Peter and Mary from Canada
