Bicycle rental and self guided bicycle tours from Castelnaud and Sarlat.

We have 10 different types of bikes including town bikes, mountain bikes, tandems, performance and fitness bikes, touring bikes, electric bikes, all sizes of children's bikes and various trailers for children starting from 18months (or less with some safe ingenuity).

Our shop in Castelnaud is at the start of the best cycle path in the region, along the Ceou River Valley, and it passes through many little hamlets on its way to Daglan with you can freshen up with drinks, ice creams, or lunch. This is a pleasant ride for all the family, and it is downhill all the way back to the shop at Castelnaud.

Our shop in Sarlat is at the start of the Sarlat cycle path, Piste Cyclable de la Dordogne, and it wends its way along an old railway line towards the Dordogne valley, crossing it once at Grolejac, or meeting up with it later at Rouffignac after the CYCLE TUNNEL. Whilst this is an easy ride, there is an uphill gradient back to the shop at Sarlat.

You can of course choose from a great number of other rides available from each shop, or we can deliver bikes to you at your accommodation. All the accessories (anything without wheels) are free with the rental.

My bike was delivered to my Lez Eyzies hotel. Joel hung around until I returned. My bike was in excellent condition and I had no difficulties. Joel assured me they would be available to service or replace the bike if issues arose. I had a great time riding to my chosen caves and abris. The weather was perfect and the... More

Already the phone call to reserve the bikes was easy and very pleasant, in english and french. There are easy routes and harder ones, so for everyone something. Then we came and only took the two tandems for 10 minutes because it started to rain. We waited under trees but it didn't stop for more than an hour, so we... More

Joel was really great on the phone and very helpful. He delivered (and picked up after two weeks) two adult bikes, one with a trailer and one with a tag along. The bikes were in excellent condition and very smooth to ride. The trailer was brand new and had never been used before! Joel gave us a good run down... More

Joel provides good quality bikes and his base is very easy to find being just 5 minutes walk from the road bridge. My favourite ride was the level valley route to Daglan which was virtually car free and scenic. Unless you have a good level of fitness I would recommend the hire of a electric bike to explore the surround... More

Great bikes and very friendly service. We had a wonderful day cycling in the Ceou valley and back via the Vin de Domme vineyard. Provided lots of advice and options for different levels of experience. Would highly recommend.

Very helpful and English speaking. Dropped off and picked up the bike from our campsite. Set the bike up to my size on delivery. Will definitely use again on our next visit :)

Joel was very helpful when we hired some bikes for the family today. Our youngest always needs encouragement when we first set off and Joel recommended we use the tandem as he was concerned we wouldn't get much out of the day although joel did try to coax him on. We took his advice and had a full-on day cycling... More

This was a great way to spend a day. We started with the bike ride and enjoyed the route although I don't think we went the right way as we rode more on the road than on tracks. However the roads were wonderfully quiet and probably easier too! But a decent map (which sadly wasn't available) would have been useful!... More

We rented 2 road bikes for a week, and kids bikes for another day, and all were good quality, in good condition, and the service from Joel and his team was excellent. A great area to ride around.

We had a bad puncture just as we were about to start a family cycle ride. The service was excellent, and the man who helped us was really friendly and helpful and fixed this as soon as possible so that we could enjoy our day out. Would recommend to anyone, extremely reasonably priced too!
