Just wanted to say a big thank you for such a great and memorable trip this afternoon (25th August) with Appin Boat Tours and Skipper.. who was the perfect host and made my first trip out on a Rig and to Scotland immensely enjoyable!.. It truly was amazing, where else does one get Scottish history, wildlife, speed, seals and teacakes in one go?!.. and thanks to Shirley at Appin Craft Shop who recommended the trip after me overhearing her talking on the phone whilst booking in another customer!.. A great day to stumble on Appin me thinks 😃.. Thank you! Miriam

We chose a wet and windy day for our boat trip, and had a whale of a time! Alistair was very friendly, and appreciated that we'd turned up in wet weather gear: The boat was a rigid-hull inflatable motorboat, open to the elements and spray. The loch was choppy due to the weather, but we found shelter by Castle Stalker and Sheep Island, where Alistair told us informative stories about the local history and buildings. We saw loads of seals, an otter, cormorants and gulls, and some sheep. We were in good spirits despite the downpour, and enjoyed bouncing over some of the big waves. Given the bad weather, this was a trip that could very easily have been miserable. Thankfully we had an awesome time and a memorable adventure.

Great boat trip. Alistair if very knowledgeable and fun. We saw seals, porpoises, loads of interesting birds and Alistair even made all the jelly fish interesting. A great way to spend an hour or so at Port Appin. Don't hesitate...you will love it. 😁

Alistair is very thoughtful, kind and both interesting and interested. We greatly enjoyed our boat tour which added to our understanding of the history our country, and a bit about wildlife - we are no experts here! It was also great fun skiting along with the spray flying (once he knew we liked that kind of thing).
