Worth a visit if in Joure. Museum gives an impression of how tea and coffee became favorite drinks in the Netherlands. There is also an old printing press which is still in working order.

Light and airy, and many different areas of interest to explore...the brass foundry, the printing press, the bakery as well as the history and house of Egbert Douwe and his company, and the history of the coffee, tea and tobacco industries.

This museum advertises itself as a museum that shows the history of DE. However, except for one machine from DE nothing has to do with this coffee and tea business. Furthermore, the museum is quite small, and doesn't have a lot on exhibition. Don't expect...More
