We visited here on Sept 5th, great passing through stop ! History of this unique gold mine, nice tea room and friendly well informed staff, and a unique ladies ‘washroom ‘ with fresh flowers and a Piano !!😁 I would highly recommend a stop here and also browse the WW1 war

It is a small museum but very big on information on mining and there is movie memorabilia you can also buy many different stones and art

We have been camping for a few times and decided to visit the town. Did the museum tour. Great and interesting history and great guide who made the visit a great experience. Worth the historical information.

A hidden gem...full of historical human adventures, mining and living in a gold mining town at the turn of the century. Lovely tea room , which sells homemade lemon pie ! Clean Bathrooms on site..and comfortable verandas to relax and view the mining sites through a telescope ! I
