My wife and I plus 4 of our friends had the BEST time ever last Friday aboard a yacht with Captain Kevin and first mate Andres. We did a full day charter on the yacht and felt like we got amazing value for what we were charged. Our local connect Bradley did a good job of getting us in touch with the owner Frank, and Frank was super easy to communicate with via email for logistics and payment information.
The boat was very clean and easy to navigate, with plenty of space below and above with ample shade when you needed it. I am sure that people continuously "blow out" the audio speakers, but if I had to recommend one thing to upgrade on the boat, that would be it. Andres did a good job of helping us get the Bluetooth connected to our phones at the beginning of the trip.
Kevin and Andres prepared plenty of rum punch (it was unbelievably good...) for us, and also had loads of water, soda, and sparkling wine. They had nice snacks for us and also prepared a VERY tasty and huge portioned lunch for all 6 of us.
Kevin and Andres were very easy to talk to, and while they had plenty of jokes and laughs with us, they also took the time to explain a lot of St. Lucian culture and history to us as well. They were great with getting us set up with snorkel gear and took us to some epic snorkeling spots, including some "secret" locations that weren't crowded with a bunch of other people and boats. We felt very safe at all times with them leading our yacht. I cannot stress enough how much these two guys made this an unforgettable experience for us. We have done a handful of boat/catamaran trips over the years, and Kevin plus Andres were easily the most personable captain/mate we have ever been with. One of the more memorable moments was rapping with Kevin and him telling me I had "Eminem blood" in me ;) Never forget my skills Kevin!!
I highly recommend this company and the two employees whom I mentioned many times above. We all left the boat with huge smiles, full bellies, and mental snapshots of some unreal snorkeling. Thank you so much for a great experience!!!

My family of five, including three daughters aged 16 to 21, thoroughly enjoyed our half-day afternoon/sunset cruise. My email communications with Captain Frank were easy and professional and I was happy with the prices he quoted me, especially compared to what I would have paid had I booked through my resort.
I’m afraid I can’t remember our boat captain’s name, but our first mate’s name was Londy and they were both great—not too intrusive, but attentive enough that we never felt ignored. The cruise itself was wonderful, the snorkeling was nice, and the rum punch and snacks were much appreciated (especially since I didn’t remember until almost the last minute to request that some of the snacks be appropriate for my vegetarian daughter).
We chose to depart out of Marigot Bay Marina, which meant an almost 45-minute taxi ride each way from our resort, but getting to see the Pitons was worth it. We also chose the catamaran over the monohull so that we would have smoother sailing as well as have the trampolines to hang out on.
I would definitely book this tour again and would most certainly recommend it to anyone.

Had a great day on the water with Kevin ans Andreas. We had never done something like this and they were so helpful in terms of advising us what we might light to do. We went from Marigot Bay to Soufrière and back. Andreas got us some local food for lunch at Soufriere and then we stopped at Sugar Beach to do some snorkelling for a while. On the way back we stopped for a nice swim in the setting sun and then took lots of pictures. They also prepared snacks and had a lot of waters, sodas and rum punch. We even had a bottle of bubbly for the sunset. Definitely recommend. They seem to be very reasonably priced and a bonus is that you can you PayPal to pay!

We have successfully chartered many times in St Lucia, Bateau Mygo headed up by Captain Frank Ambler wasn’t one of them. Bateau Mygo is absolutely the worst charter boat company to deal with in St Lucia. We had booked a full day on one of their sailing catamarans paying in full prior to sailing. Once we had boarded their boat, Bateau Mygo changed our time on the boat and our sailing itinerary with zero prior consultation with us. Truncated sailing day, no sailing to the Pitons as planned, and a forced taxi ride back to our resort instead of by water. We felt like we were being held hostage. What was supposed to be a special day on the water was hyjacked by a crew and boat who had their own agenda not ours. After a long argument the crew finally agreed to sail us back to our resort rather than sticking us in a cab for a 1 hour taxi ride back, All our attempts to deal with this and with Captain Frank Ambler have been 100% ignored. Please, please, please save yourself a ton of grief and your money and do not charter with this substandard non caring company. If I could rate Bateau Mygo zero instead 1 on Trip Advisor’s scale I would have done it.

Our family did a half day charter and we cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff were friendly and helpful, the boat was well maintained and spacious, and the views were world-class. They were very willing to change up the itinerary when we said we wanted to skip the snorkeling, and the snacks they provided were absolutely delicious.

My husband and I chartered their catamaran for a full day. Half the price of the hotel price. If you want to be packed on a boat with masses of music and other people, crashing along, don’t book this. These guys, Londie and Mark are so lovely, chilled and professional, time and St Lucia slide by slowly while you just enjoy being alive. They pointed out a whale and were very informative but above all it was just incredibly relaxing. Worth every penny. Snorkelling, lunch and boat to yourselves….don’t hesitate to book this because it’s the best money you can spend….

Truly a memorable day. We recommend these gentlemen, Captain Kevin and his excellent second in command Lt Andre! Professional and competent. The excursion was perfect. We saw a pod of 4 whales accompanied by circling, dancing dolphins 🐬. It was like a nature show! We circled the island by sail, enjoying the brisk winds. Lunch, served onboard was delightful, fresh and local. Think curry chicken and lots of fresh veggies. Rum 🍹 punch. Champagne 🍾 All there ! And, after a refreshing rainy, a rainbow 🌈 on Good Friday afternoon. So blessed. Thanks to our concierge Mr Bradley, from Crystals, for setting this up. Memorable.

Don’t delay book today!
We just returned from St. Lucia and due to the Covid restrictions they are only allowing water based tours. I had booked only one tour at first but, changed it to 2 after the restrictions were put in place. We did the all day tour the 1st time and then we did the sunset Lobster dinner cruise the 2nd time and both were amazing but, the dinner cruise was our favorite.
The food on the dinner cruise was so good and we were treated well by the staff on both trips!
Thank you all for making our trip memorable.

Our family rented a catamaran to celebrate a milestone birthday. Prior to booking, this company promised in writing to decorate the boat and have cake available for the celebration. Sadly, this did not happen.
The boat arrived a half hour late at our resort to pick us up. There were no decorations or cake, Lunch was cold chicken and rice served to us in takeaway styrofoam containers. We felt rushed, especially at “lunch,” because, oddly, we were to spend an hour on Sugar Beach (no choice - just taken ashore). There was no music and our day ended with a 45 minute taxi ride back to our resort that was not previously communicated to me.
We only sailed for about the first hour of the day. The rest of the time was motorized. The two-man crew were kind, but had no idea we were celebrating a birthday. They spent most of the trip fishing off the back of the boat. When I communicated my disappointment to the owner, he said he would look into this, but he did not get back to me again.
I would recommend shopping around, especially if you’re looking for a decent meal and/or service.

My wife and I booked a monohull Land & Sea adventure by Bateau Mygo at the suggestion of our villa hostess, to close out our weeklong honeymoon in Saint Lucia.
It was a perfect day! Sunny and breezy, Captain Kevin and crewman Andres helped us achieve what they called “maximum chill.” Suffice to say, they succeeded!
We sailed out of Marigot Bay at 10 AM, to Soufriere. Along the way Andres pointed out some local history and interesting landmarks, all the while providing food and drink and lively conversation.
Upon arriving in Soufriere, a driver (which was hired as part of the package) took us to the Mudbaths and a Waterfall. The Botanical Gardens were an option to visit, but consider you won’t have time to visit all three, choose your top two.
After a warm exfoliation at the mud baths, we received a cool rinse at one of the local waterfalls before heading back to the ship for snorkeling and lunch. You have the option of snorkeling at Soufriere bay or up the coast on the way back at different spots.
Andres’ aunt in Soufriere provided the most delicious traditional Caribbean food we have ever had. Afterwards we sailed back north to Marigot just in time for my wife and I to have champagne at sunset near the bay.
This trip was the most fabulous part of our honeymoon. Worth every penny. Book with Bateau Mygo for a more intimate and relaxing tour of the western side of Saint Lucia. You cannot go wrong with them.
Before booking, watch the weather to book the best day for your private charter.

That sounds amazing! I will be traveling there very soon (total of 5 people). How much did the sailing and everything cost you in total?
Written July 24, 2016
I can't remember the exact amount, but it was just the two of us and is was about $500 US not counting a tip. Well worth it from our perspective.
