London and Surrey's Premier Karting Venue - Daytona Sandown Park is the only MSA licenced and NKA Approved circuit inside the M25. The 900 metre circuit can be split into two Junior Circuits that are perfect for Birthday Parties and Junior Arrive&Drive. Adults can race in Daytona's superb Sodi RT8 Karts that are capable of 50mph or the high performance Dmax 125cc Two Stroke Karts that exceed 70mph. Book online or call us for more information.

Particularly thanks to staff such as Ethan, TJ and George providing a great experience from signing in, the safety briefing and my time in the pit-lane alongside when I was out on circuit. Beyond that being in the Rotax powered Dmaxs I had a great sprint race as always. Always great to be in sessions with experienced drivers. - dave b2 contributionsBEST GO KART TRACK IN THE UKMe and my friends took part in their 3 hour endurance today at Sandown Park and it was easily the best endurance race we have been to. Came home feeling exasperated with Daytona Sandown and the Daytona brand this year in general.
Despite the premium price that we pay for Daytona, much of the fleet was in a shocking state. It's rare for me to see a breakdown at all in sprint karting, during our event we had at least four karts stop on us completely during races.
We also had several broken seats that would no longer hold in place, forcing even more kart changes.
The staff did their best throughout the day to swap karts and keep them going, but were clearly working with a completely knackered fleet of Sodi's.
Having spent over ÂŁ200 if you count entry fee's, fuel, hotels and practice, I kind of feel cheated out of a great days racing and some good results.
I know times are about to get tough for everyone and you can't magic a new fleet out of thin air, but there's no way I would risk visiting again unless something changes.

Hi Simon, apologies for the delay in responding to your feedback. With everything that has happened over the last few months it must have slipped the net. We take customer feedback extremely seriously and as you will see from the rest of our comments, your experience isn't the norm so we can only assume without looking in to it (which we will) that this was an exceptional circumstance. We take great pride in the servicing our engineers give the go-karts and with the recent break we've had, the go-karts are in great condition for the upcoming summer months which are always our busiest period. I will look in to the feedback for you and if you send an email to richard.holt@daytona.co.uk I will pass on the feedback from our race directors to hopefully get this rectified. Thanks, Team Daytona

The general sessions for children are far too mixed to be safe. One of mine was a complete beginner and is naturally fairly cautious. Despite trying to slow down some of the very fast karters, those riders kept going and didn't care about intimidating and bumping the slower ones so it felt incredibly unsafe. I had to go down and ask for them to take my child off the course (which also therefore made it a very expensive 10 minutes). Apparently it's a safe activity for confident riders but not for less confident ones. Seems crazy that there is no attempt to have proper beginner sessions.
The sibling who went was older and it was fine for him but I'm extremely pleased that I didn't risk letting my younger one stay on the course.

Hi there, we're sorry to hear that you felt the experience you had at Dayona Sandown Park didn't meet your expectations. We can assure you that safety is the single most important factor that we take extremely seriously. We understand that for some juniors it can be daunting being on track with more experienced drivers. However, if our marshals felt there was any potential for danger, they wouldn't allow the session to continue. We have noted the suggestion about running specific beginner sessions for less confident drivers and we will have a think whether this is something that we could offer on an ongoing basis. We took 10 children to Daytona Sandown Park to celebrate my sons 9th birthday and the whole experience was terrific. From the moment we were met in the carpark it was clear that COVID guidelines were being taken seriously and the whole operation was very slick - yet at the same time the team were focused on making sure the kids were having fun at all times - and boy did they!
For most, this was their first time karting and the briefing team put all young minds at rest that they weren't going to become human fireballs the second they got out onto the track. I was particularly impressed with the time one of the instructors spent reassuring one of the boys whose nerves were about to get the better of them before even turning a wheel. His guidance saw the young lad head tentatively out onto the track and within minutes was up to speed with the rest of the gang.
We left with 10 very happy, exhilarated and tired boys. A party to remember!

Mark and his team have made us feel very welcome at Daytona Sandown Park. We booked a private karting lesson with Kieran. It started with setting a benchmark timed lap at 54.1s and then Kieran took me on track to observe my driving. This was repeated three times and was mixed with clear direction on where I could make improvements. My lap time dropped down to 52.9s within the hour! A special thanks to Kieren who built a nice rapport with me and the drop in lap time is a direct result of his fantastic coaching. I would highly recommend a private karting lesson with Kieran and whilst it’s not cheap it’s well worth the money (thanks Dad) I look forward to racing in the Junior Sprint Championship over the coming months at Sandown Park. Thanks Kieran and Daytona :)

I recently booked one-on-one tuition with Simon for my youngest son. Simon was absolutely super. He really engaged with my son, spoke enthusiastically and encouraged him, improving his skill and confidence around the track. I have already recommended Simon to other cadet parents at Sandown Daytona.

Super impressed with this place but particularly because of the experience my son (who is 10) had with Seb. My son bailed at the last minute on a introduction lesson for beginners, he was super nervous and scared he couldn’t do it, began crying .. it all looked as though It could simply become an all round negative experience with my son feeling bad for not seeing it through etc. But Seb was outstanding. He spent the whole 20 minutes giving 1:1 lesson in the lay-by and finally with some perseverance and just simple kindness and patience, he got my son round the track twice before the end. Have to say it rare I go anywhere these days where I am really impressed with a service. Today was made special by Seb and I hope the company you work for value staff like you !!

We organised our first get together post-Covid with Daytona for the 'doing' part (before dinner and drinks elsewhere). While most of our group had driven go karts before we had a few first timers.
The organisation on the day was first rate: a practice session, then 3 heats (everyone drove in 2) to assign grid position for a slightly longer final. There was lots of great racing, stories to share and the marshalls / compare really made sure everyone was having a good time.
It's a more challenging course than it looks, which some subtle level changes and late apexes which will test the best drivers.

Absolutely Fantastic!
The only place around that I've found that has proper petrol karts for 6 & 7 year olds. The safety is absolutely top standard and they have managed the cleanliness through covid really well. We will continue to take my son as he gets older and wants to continue to go (he loves it) and my younger one will go for his induction as soon as he turns 6 too.
The adult karting is also great and is very enjoyable to do as an individual turning up to have a go or as a group.
We have been regular attendees here both for ourselves and our children and will continue to do so in the future.
Thoroughly recommend this as an activity for adults or for children.

We were here for the Cadet Race school and it was a fantastic day - with plenty of time on track, some decent karts, backed up by very capable and enthusiastic instructors, marshals and front of house staff.
Simon, Everim and Anatoly were great with the children on track, helping them really optimise their lines, braking points and track position - so good to see that level of commitment and coaching coming through.
Have already booked my youngest for the same event when he's old enough and looking forward to the competition in the championships soon.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Daytona Go Karting! From start to finish, the staff were outstanding and incredibly patient. It all began with a phone call to Alex, who took the time to clearly explain the booking process and answer all of my questions with great care. His professionalism and friendly attitude set the tone for the entire visit. I explained my son has autism and will need extra patience and Alex was very supportive and reassuring and described all the ways they could help.
Once we arrived, the man who handled the safety demo was equally impressive. His patience and calm demeanor helped ease any nervousness we had, especially for my child, who took much longer than all the other children to put his helmet on as this was a huge trigger for him.
The support continued with the amazing Monty on the track. I cannot thank him enough for the way he took care of my son, he gave him the space and guidance to enjoy the experience fully, with a complete understanding of how my son needed to be communicated with. His demeanour was superior to many experienced staff in my son’s previous mainstream school! Very very impressive!!
This was more than just a fun day of go-karting—it was a positive, memorable experience that meant so much to us. We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend Daytona Go Karting to anyone, especially families with children who may need a little extra care and patience. Thank you, Daytona team, for going above and beyond!

Hi. We have specially dedicated sessions, karts and safety equipment for Junior Drivers. A ten year old would drive one of our Cadet karts on the Indy Circuit at Daytona Sandown Park. We offer Junior Arrive&Drive sessions for beginners, exclusive birthday parties plus Race School and our InKart Championship if the child is keen to become the next Lewis Hamilton.
