Great views and surroundings, short walk from the city centre. You can catch a boat ship and get to know the lake.

One of the most beautiful castle ruins I have ever seen. This place is so beautiful, you will easily fall in love in Pieniny and this area of Poland. From the top of the castle views are breathtaking. Parking is about 450 meters on foot from ruins.

Free parking for 1,5h if you visit the castle (7 zl adults 3 zl kids).

A few boards are translated to English. I encourage to translate all of them. Not only will our tour last more than 28 minutes but we will learn something.

Many thanks for the moment.

We organized this castle plus Niedzica. We were sailing a ship between castles. We spent nice time with 5 years old child. All trip was 5 hours

It is really just a ruins but quite a bit more that just a rubble. It is open for visiting and you can do it 2 different ways. You can take a boat across from Niedzica and back or you can drive to Czorsztyn and visit. We really enjoyed walking the old walls and specially the you get to the top levels views over the lake and towards the NIedzica castle are grand.

Good to go there but it is not the same castle you have seen in Niedzica. Mostly ruins with some attempts to restore outer walls and main connections.Nice view thou.

A beautiful castle with a view on a lake and Niedzica castle. For sure worth visiting and spending some time there.

Czorsztyn Castle is a great ruin on a top of the hill on "other side of the lake". You coul get there by a boat and enjoy the ride across the lake. Nature around castle is really nice and view from the top is great. Once upon a time it must be a great castle. However, today you cannot see much, only thick walls and that's it. I got 3 "stars" only just beacaus entrance fee for this place is too high for offering almost nothing. I understand that they need money for renovation but ruins like this at other places and other countries are usually free of charge.

This castle is located near to an artificial lake and dam but the views are really incredible. For 5zl you can walk around the castle without a guide and read about the history of the place and have plenty of time to take in the scenery and take photos. This is one of the best castles I've seen in Poland, and for that price you really can't complain. Highly recommended.

Parking nearby is paid for (and costs more than the castle). If you don't mind a walk, you can park for free further on but the road is quite steep

Czorsztyn is across the lake on the less developed side. It seems much older and definitely with genuine historic feel compared to the Niedzica castle on the opposite side.

Although preserved in ruins, it enjoys excellent views from its highest parts.

On warm sunny days the lake below is full of all kinds of water craft which depart from the little jetty just north from castle on regular basis.
