Went with the family, and even with COVID 19 restrictions, it was still fun. Took the additional bunker tour, and we were very happy with it. Should be part of a complete Normandy tour ... each of the beaches.

Good tour of the area with lots of bunkers and outposts excavated and redone. The museum was OK - seemed like it was trying too hard to be inclusive and politically correct with a lot of exhibits that had nothing to do with D-Day. There are definitely better museums in Normandy. Go id you are in the area, but don't make a special trip there.

Visited the centre, took the tour of the underground bunkers. The guide also took us for a tour of the beach and landings. The centre had a great display. Many very detail boards, films. The young guides did a fabulous job of explaining the history. Need more time to do a good job of seeing and reading everything. Staff very helpful. Building and facilities clean. The gift shop has many great items to purchase.

The museum came as pleasant surprise during a walk on the beach. Very interesting; with the intro film being an absolutely amazing experience. Inside had a lot of great stories, artefacts and history about Canadian military history, but it was based on a lot of text, which we had to skip most of. The little film at the end is a must see if you are there and the museum is overall very well build and displayed

The centre offered an interesting look at the Canadian's role on D-Day. The displays were slightly confusing to follow, and the temporary display about women in the war was so small that I didn't realize I had seen it before we were through the centre. We had also been at other centres/museums in the area and the Juno centre was without a doubt a commercialized venture as opposed to the others.

Hi Elaine, Thank you for your feedback, I am glad your visit went well. I am sorry to hear that you were dissapointed by the size of the temporary exhibit, that exhibit space is definetely not the largest. Typically visitors have spent 30-45 minutes visiting that exhibit, which can seem short when the content is as interesting as it is! I am not sure what you mean in saying that our Centre is a commercial venture. We are a private not-for-proft organisation founded by veterans and run by a volunteer association, and we have some of the lowest admission prices among all the Dday themed museums in the area. Thanks again for your feedback!
