Great spot especially if you are lucky to arrive when there is a band playing in the square or a festival on! Extremely big, plenty of nice bars and restaurants located here and nearby! Lovely spot and great old architecture!

The opening to this wide square, both from the northern side (from the Cathedral) and from the south side (from the "Corso") is breathtaking..together with the castle, dating back to the Renaissance, the square qualifies Carpi city center as one of the most inspiring historical places around

Could have been a nice place if the big buildings facing this huge square were a bit less sloppy and dilapidated. Plenty of young people, plenty of bikers, nice cathedral on the background and sloppiness on the foreground. Hard to understand.

One of the largest piazzas in Italy. Although devastated by the earthquake in 2011, the town is emerging as a beautifully restored mediavel centre and we hope to returns e day to see t in all its glory. The front of the cathedral and the theatre have been almost finished as also the beautiful porticos.
