Trip advisor says it's closed but I visited it this morning. Small but fascinating museum dedicated to a painter from Barletta who was contemporary with Manet and Degas. Cheap admission.

This painter is well known only in these areas. If you are interested in the art and want to know the local artist of 1800 - 1900, it will be worth to visit.

This museum houses one of the most complete collections of Giuseppe De Nittis, a famous painter from Barletta. It is collocated in a nice building called "Palazzo della Marra" with a beautiful balcony.

The museum is newly renowated. It shows all phases of the De Nittis cereer and there are also informative texts in italian and english.

A fantastic old building which has been fully restored hosts a very interesting exhibition of the impressionist painter De Nittis who worked for most of his productive life in Paris.

is a really interesting impressionist painter. Worth a visit. There are interesting pictures of Parisian society in the nineteenth century. There is a part of the museum that explains the historical context.
