This is the site you you want to find after a long day's travel over endlessly bumpy Italian roads. It is very peaceful and the pitches are, as far as I could ascertain, all grass ones. (Much preferable to stepping out onto grit!) There are plenty of trees for those who like a shaded pitch and plenty without. Quite a few pitches have water, electricity, and grey water disposal plus a satellite TV plug (although I'm not sure how useful this is for 'foreigners', (not being interested in TV). The facilities are clean, spacious and plentiful. The showers work like the one you have at home, not a push button that keeps stopping and the water is hot, not tepid. The restaurant, open only in the evening (when we were there), is very popular with the locals as well as with campers. Apart from pizzas there is a normal menu which is excellent. The owners of the site did everything they could to make our stay pleasant and were at all times warm and courteous. We will be returning to the Dolomites and will definitely use this camp site again.

Only spent 1 night but it is an ideal place if you do not want to pay too much for accommodation. Camp is very well equipped with lots of facilities for families with children, couples, travelers with pets. Bathrooms are clean and spacious. I guess people are staying for longer here and it is totally understandable as you have all you need there.

Valle Verde is situated in a beautiful valley of the Dolomites, with multiple trails starting directly from the campsite. We stayed here for 3 nights during our journey south to Tuscany with our kids aged 3, 5 and 8. In the fee is the Fieme visitor pass included that allows you access to 3 cable lifts in the area that will take you all the way up to the mountains. It also allows free access to local public transport and many castles and museums although we hadn't had he chance to use it for that. Massive amount of things to do in the area apart from hiking: castles, museums, Trento, rafting, cycling and so on. There are even special trails for strollers when you have young kids with you! The campsite itself has rather small places but we were fortunate to have a spot in an extra field that provided a huge space (see photo). Although the number of places is rather high, you'll find absolute tranquility as the a lot of the visitors are hikers (couples and families alike) so people hit the sack early. The facilities are top notch; showers, toilets, washing area, all really good with excellent warm water. Nice playing grounds for children, they have all the space they need! Restaurant serves great pizzas (as well as other dishes but we didn't try any so can't judge). Village of Pedazzo at 2km - perfect to walk to - that has many facilities like supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, shops, etc. I certainly echo the good reviews written by others; great campsite for short or long stay. We'll definitely reuse this one as a prolonged stop on future journeys into Italy.

Stayed as part of our alpine tour. Planned one night, stayed for four. Plenty of local activities within range of the transport, which is provided and paid as part of your stay here. There are also a good few walks direct from the site, along the river or up into the hills. Good restaurant on-site for eat-in or take-away. Popular with kids. If you want peace, check the Italian and Austrian school holiday dates.
