At the bottom of one of the trails from the castle, the Parco Arciducale is a tranquil place to see various unusual trees or watch turtles sunbathing. The turtles are very tame, happy for people to get close as they seem as interested in us...More

I recommend ti visit this green gem in Arco. Lake with turtles, bamboo "forest" or Palm micro forest are just awesome. I saw a avocado tree here for a first time.

This was lovely, the park is so pretty and seeing the turtles was amazing. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. Great for any age. You don’t see anything like this is England. Would definitely recommend !!

Beautiful small park with small turtle pond. Quiet place with many benches to rest and enjoy the tranquility. A little hidden on the way to mountain. Free entry. Worth to take a look.

It is a small arboretum but a nice place to visit on your way to the Castle or back, if you need a break. You can relax, enjoy the natural shade and get away from the summer heat. There is no entrance fee.

This is effectively a small free park. There is not a lot here but it is worth a look if you have free time to kill. They have put a lot of effort into naming plants and trees.

The arboretum isn't so big, but it's very well maintained and is a great place to shelter from both heat and rain!! You also get a great view over the town. Some really cool tropical trees and great for kids to run around and hide

The arboretum today is what is left of a much larger park area that surrounded the villa of an Austrian Archduke in 1872. Some of the older trees are particularly interesting, especially a few conifers from North America (Calocedrus Decurrens, Chamaecyparis Lawsoniana, Sequoia Sempervirens) and...More
