We didn't have any intention to visit this winery on our way from Castello Verrazzano but changed our plans when we saw in the darkness on the right hand from the road small but nice building of this winery. We guessed that it gonna be good place which is worth to be stopped at the end of the day for... More

I traveled to La Tancia Vineyard with a large group. The owner gave us a quick tour of the property and explained the history of the vineyard, then sat us at large tables to eat and drink. We were given many bottles of wine to share, not just tasting glasses. Each bottle was paired with a food, such as bruschetta,... More

We went there as part of a bus tour, certainly one not to be missed. The lady who gave us a tour of their bottling machine and storage area then gave us a beautiful selection of cold meats, cheese, salami, breads, olive oil, homemade zucchini slice and lots of different bottles of chianti's to sample. Then we were given home... More

Definitely go here for lunch and a tasting if you're in the area. But only if you're into good food, great wines, and passionate (and friendly!) Italian women ;) Good value for your money.

A lovely place to spend an afternoon tasting regional wines produced by this family run winery. We had an excellent lunch, accompanied by a selection of wines to taste. They were also able to prepare a gluten-free meal for one member of our group, which was excellent. Our group of 4 was given a short tour of the production facilities,... More

We had so much fun at Frattoria La Tancia. Our visit stated with a tour of the winery, then we proceeded inside and given *6 whole bottles* of wine to taste along with homemade bruschetta, sun dried tomatoes, cured meats, cheese, and dessert. It was a cozy wine tasting and by the end we felt like family. We bought 2... More

While renting a house in Tuscany we were looking for a "family" winery where we could experience the process as well as enjoy the wines. Wow! Course after course, we were fed like family, tried some very generous servings of wine (6 bottles!!) and had an up close and personal tour of the winery...which we finished up with espresso and... Visiting Fattoria La Tancia felt more like a family homecoming experience to us. Greeted warmly and genuinely, then treated to a tour of the vineyards, production and aging facility, then the tasting of the nice wines of the farm - outstanding. We enjoyed at least 6 of their wines along with bruschetta and cheeses. Delicious tasty wine, you'll enjoy. ...

We decided to try a traditional Italian wine tasting at this location and we were not disappointed! We were served a 4 course lunch, consisting of bruschetta, bread with oils and vinegar, antipasti, cheeses and an absolutely delicious homemade pesto ravioli. We were also given a very generous amount of wine to taste (6 bottles)! They were delightful. When we... More

We stopped in here one day while we were staying in the area for a tasting and " light lunch" this turned out to be one of my favourite things of our trip. We were able to sample 6 different wines and had a 5 course lunch that was absolutely delicious. After lunch and tasting we got a tour of... More
