La corte di S. Antonio (abate) ospita un imponente torre medievale, le cumbessias (piccole stanze per il ristoro dei pellegrini, una delle quali probabilmente è l'alloggio del custode) e la chiesa antica, in pietra vulcanica, con un caratteristico portico laterale ad archi. All'interno della chiesa è ospitato un ciclo di affreschi del XIV secolo (che non sono stati valorizzati da un recente restauro). L'esperienza è stata particolarmente toccante perché siamo stati spinti a visitarla, guidati dai canti di una cerimonia religiosa serale e la luce generosa della luna ha contribuito alla speciale atmosfera.

La chiesa è stata costruita attorno al 1200 in pietra vulcanica, prima era un santuario campestre, il 16 gennaio in occasione della festa si da fuoco a una grande catasta di legna

Peccato che il tempo disponibile era poco, ci sono stato appena il tempo per osservare a mala pena l'interno...infatti come siamo usciti hanno chiuso il portone subito dopo.
Spero di riandare ad Orosei e approfondire la visita.

Surplombant la plaza Del Popolo cette église blanche est flanqué d'une jolie tour Pisane. L'interieur néo classique respire l'iatlie pieuse. Charmant avant de se propulser dans le dédale des rue en pierre qui entoure l'édifice
