This is the most stunning course in the province! Fairways are in great shape but some of the greens are in need of repair. Try to stay on the fairway... balls that even dribble into the rough are impossible to find in the dense brush. Grilled food was tasty. We advised that we were using the TSN1290 golf card when we booked (2 for 1 play) but staff neglected to tell us that it was restricted to tee times after 1pm; our tee time was 11 am. When we complained we were told that all staff were educated on the restrictions and that we could not use the card. I suggested that the staff needed re-education because they neglected to advise us of the restriction. No compensation was made. Not impressed with the club’s response, but we’d already driven 1.5 hours to get to the course so we played anyway. The course is a worthwhile trip.

The conditions of the fairways of this course could not be better. I believe it had rained the day before and the fairways were think and green. A few greens needed a little work, they had a few large marks on them. The staff was very friendly and the starter guy was very helpful giving information on the first hole (this one is a little tricky as you can not see where you are hitting). We ate breakfast here and it was very good. The pace of play was 4.5 hours but it was a Friday of the September long weekend and they were very busy.

Hands down the best course in Manitoba. Sure it's a drive, but if you love golf then this will make you happy.

Great staff, easy to book tee times and immaculate maintenance.

And you Can't go wrong with the scenery.

This is another must play course. Unfortunately it is a little drive from Winnipeg but well worth the trip. A beautiful scenic and challenging course which is usually in excellent condition. Not much more to say but one of the nicer courses in Manitoba!!!

I have just played Granite May 29&30/14 and have to say it's probably the best course in the province, fairways and tee boxes are similar to $200+ tracks in the US. It came through the winter in unbelievable condition. It is now a must play course in Manitoba, surpassing all the rest, in my books. Once you get past a weak 1st hole, just enjoy the ride, Hopefully you picked a calm day, otherwise you better have a few extra balls in your bag, it's a beauty! Save another day for a fall round.
Twilight at 4pm is a bargain, don't bother trying to walk it, take a cart.

Granite Hills is the nicest and most scenic golf course in Manitoba. My wife and I play this course regularly and we just can't get enough of it. We have golfed all over Canada and some parts of the U.S and this course ranks right up there with the best of them. It will test your golf skills but is a joy to play and the scenery can't be beat. I encourage all Manitoba golfers to play this course and recommend it to visiting family and friends, nobody will be disappointed.

We played this course twice in July - once on the week-end - rate was $66.00 and then on Monday again - rate was $55.00. These rates included power carts. Coming from the Okanagan Valley in B.C., the above rates are very reasonable compared to our rates in B.C.

The course is in excellent shape and very challenging. Choose the right Tee Box!! Most holes are tree-lined so hitting your drive straight is important.

Granite Hills is very scenic and a pleasure to play.

The only two negatives I have seen is 1) location - it is a distance from Winnipeg (where I flew into and 2) the first hole can punish you even if you hit a good drive. In simple words not the best starting hole I have seen.

Even with the two negatives, I still give this course a five star. Try it.
