Lago Pehle has unique turquoise blue color which needs to be admired by one’s own eyes. No pics/videos will do any justice to the natural beauty of this lake. Certainly would very highly recommend visiting the viewpoint for this lake to any traveler in Torres Del Paine National Park.

Patagonia can be quite rough and the weather has it's own rules. I did a long day trip off of the South America/Antarctica cruise and so hoped to see the mountains of Torres del Paine. When we got to Lago Pehoé for lunch (it's also a guest house right on the lake) it started to clear up. And what a view we got. Unforgettable. When I go back to Patagonia I will stay at the guest house for a night or two. The view is absolutely breathtaking.

Torres del Paine National Park has always been characterized for its amazing turquoise blue colors; the great side to it is that you can just grab a full day tour and then visit the Milodon's cave, Amarga lagoon, Nordenskjold lake, Grey Lake beach (and maybe even go to the glacier itself by boat) if you depart from Puerto Natales.

It's a long day but it's completely worth it!

Beautiful. So many hikes in the area offering elevated views of the lake. Try Condor Point.

Accessible by road, this is one of the highlights of the park & cannot be missed.

We stayed at the hotel on the lake & waking up to those views each morning was magical.

The water comes from the Rio Paine (paine means blue in the indigenous language), and it is indescribably blue from the glacial run-off. The views from the mirador condor, Hotel Pehoe, the Pehoe campground, or just from the road are fantastic - particularly on a sunny day. The ferry ride from Pudeto to the Paine Grande lodge is gorgeous and makes it much easier to get to the French valley if you are not doing the W trek. Be aware: the ferry only takes cash.

This amazingly coloured lake which sits at the heart of the park can be crossed by a catamaran in order to get to one of the key treks (Frances Valley) which are part of the W. The boat trip is an event in itself, affording some further spectacular views - just make sure that you wrap up warm.

Patagonia is an amazing National Park! There is just so much to see and do.
Wonderful hikes in this National Park, gorgeous glaciers, glacier lakes and Lago Pehoe is one of them; beautiful waterfalls and this is one area where you see lenticular clouds!! Patagonia is a feast for your senses - heaven on earth!!

Stunning and classic views of the Torres in all their glory. So many "jig saw puzzle" photos. A less popular but stunning walk is to walk up to Condor Lookout (just over the Lake Pehoe) - takes under an hour and goes up ~200m but the views of the lake and Torres from there is simply stunning.

This lake has a beautiful blue color and a nice view of the mountains as well. I think most people ride the boat across the lake to get to the hike at the frenchman's valley. Once you get off the boat you can do a day hike of about 16 km roundtrip to the camp italiano or you can camp the night at the campo italiano and get to the lookout at the campo britanico (or if you're really fast do it all in one day). This hike is wonderful and gives a great view of the horns or cuernos, but it is physically fairly long.

However, you can also just get off the boat and sit on the black stone beach and enjoy an afternoon by the lake if hiking is not your thing. Additionally if you don't take the boat at all Lago Pehoe also has a very nice picnic area with little huts which we also did one morning and enjoyed after stopping at several lookouts by car.

We visited the National Park Torres del Paine by rented car from Puerto Natales, we entered from the west entrance, the cross from SW to NE and left from Cerro Castillo.
