We went exploring the surrouindings of Pefkohori village by feet. It was quite a walking distance until we reached the lake. The lake itself was a dissapointment - muddy water, some boots and small ships. Nothing special beside. The beach next to the lake is good. There was also a beach bar and sun beds with umbrellas not far from... More

Port Glarokavos It is very nice. Around it you can see clear water of Toroneo. People are sitting or walking. Two boats taking them to the sea. Environment is very pleasure and special .

A very nice beach near Pefkochori village! The sea is very clean and has a unique green - blu collor. The are beach bars and seasport rentals with very good service for the people. In fact i think it is one of five best beaches in Kassandra! It worths to visit it!

If you want comfortable beach experience, go to Umbrellas Beach bar. Huge roomy and cushy beach beds, chairs..al facilities are great, the staff is very attending and the prices are normal. The only downside is that the water bed is not very nice - it is steep and has rocks in it, as at all beaches on the north side... More

now dominated by 2 massive beach bars, one which blocks the roads with boats and parked cars to prevent further travel. Beach either side of bars is filthy and is a disgrace to Greece. Sea is cleanish but plastic bags abound

We happened to visit this area on 15th of august - st.Mary - a very big Greeek day. Everyone was free + 2 week-end days, everyone left for Halkidiki. It was so crowded!! The beaches here are so small and very crowded. i didn't like anything. We rented a small boat (very expensive) and we went far from the crowd.... More

We have been visiting Glarokavos Beach Bar for years and we always kind of know what to expect. Every beach bar on the1st ''leg'' - peninsula of Chalkidiki can get really crowded during the summer. Glarokavos combines a good beach with nice waters - usually not that warm and a good quality in services. This year however, customer service has... More
