I like the views. You can see the lake toya, the Nakajima in the middle of the lake Toya, the Pacific ocean and a volcano vent of Mt. Usu and Mt. Showashinzan. The rope way was smooth ride.

This walk takes 70 minutes return with lots of interesting information boards explaining the effects of the volcano. Very interesting and great to see the regeneration of the land. Well done for leaving this as a memorial park.

These parklands are just delightful. We arrived too early for hotel check-in so popped in to Family Mart and grabbed some sandwiches and had a picnic in the park. The combination of the wonderful panoramic views out over the Lake Toya and the amazing artworks were quite idyllic. Make sure you make the time to walk right through this area.

Dear GraftonRiverguide Thank you very much for coming to Lake Toya at this time. We are so happy to hear that you had a good time. We will keep aiming to make wonderful tourist sites which are loved by everyone. There is a Lake Toya long run fireworks display held from spring to autumn. The tunnel of illumination is held in winter. You can enjoy them all year round. We look forward to your next visit. Toyako Onsen Tourist Association

Lovely park for a lunch or a stroll. Lovely artwork and beautiful views of the lake. The piece with the large mask frames photos of the islands beautifully.

In the summertime, the view across the water from this park is absolutely stunning. The water couldn't be more blue, and it's peaceful as can be.

Mt Usa has a beautiful scenery up top. The whole place is big and not too crowded and walking up to view the stunning view is not too strenuous.

The park affords an excellent view of the lake and of distant Mt. Yotei. It's large and the two times of the year I've been there it was never crowded. Nice place to relax and enjoy the breze and the view.
