We visited on 1st week of June, Pink Sakura drop on the floor, little pink carpet was beautiful & surprise me.

Plenty of free parking slots & public toilet next to it, short walking distance to Ukimido. Beautiful photo shots to Nakajima Island, one of the place must visit in Lake Toya.

Thanks for the vote if you found this helpful :D

Dear Ice800908 Thank you very much for coming to Lake Toya at this time. We are so happy to hear that you had a good time. We will keep aiming to make wonderful tourist sites which are loved by everyone. There is a Lake Toya long run fireworks display held from spring to autumn. The tunnel of illumination is held in winter. You can enjoy them all year round. We look forward to your next visit. Toyako Onsen Tourist Association

Ours was a mid-week visit so the park was vertually empty of anyone other than ourselves. We thoroughly enjoyed walking the foreshores of the lake, photographing the swans and enjoying this beautiful part of Japan.

Tranquil place, we were the only ones there. Slightly chilly even in summer. Great for a quick pit stop to enjoy view / take photo with the tower and lake toya as the backdrop.

A camping ground nearby for locals in Summer.
Free parking lot nearby
Gets very quiet in winter time but stunning view with snow.
Be very careful when walking to Ukimido as its not paved concrete but lined up boulders. especially in winter when the snow covers the rocks and have to pay attention to walk on or fall into water !
But offers the best view of Toyako because of its special geographical location

A tranquil park with a small temple at the end of a little peninsula. Beautiful even in the summer with wildflowers growing all around the temple.

It is what it is. Apart from the pagoda, there is really nothing much to do. One can still roll up a mat and have a picnic.

The good thing about Ukimido Park is that it has a decent size car park, and a functional toilet!

It was drizzling and bit chilly.
The small park is beautiful with sakura still blooming. The petals that drop on the grass turn it into a white and pink carpet.

There's not a lot to see here, a small park with an ornate tower. Something to look at on a toilet break or enjoy a picnic on a sunny day, not a destination stop.
