Nice lighthouse, and you can swim or kayak around this attraction. Water is cold and you need to bring water shoes because it is rocky. Limited paid parking ($3/hour) and nowhere to sit if you’re on shore (small rocks vs big ones you can sit on). Picturesque location to swim.

A must see location when visiting Tobermory. Parking is $3 per hour and can fill up quickly but the views are beautiful. Can watch boats going back and forth for hours and take a little swim. Wear appropriate shoes as it is rocky.

This place is accessible for free after 18:00 (06:00 pm) It is an awesome spot to look at the sunset and the water is blue, the view is very amazing. Excellent spot to start from if you wish to go see the shipwreck at the end of the bay. You can start from there with your kayak or paddle board and even bring your snorkeling gear. Pretty good experience!

This is not a park. This is an accessibly public area but Tobermory still charges for parking and at rates HIGHER than downtown Toronto. They rip you off every step you make. Stay away, plenty of places to go that don't try and rob you blind.

The lighthouse is in a good spot. Great views, the water is very clear, the place feels calming and a nice place to come for a picnic.
Worth visiting when in the area.
Good place to take photos, probably better during sunrise.

Great place to take photos and to swim. I dont recommend it for families with young children due to the rocks and current can be strong to swim. Parking is $3/hour. Limited parking so best to get there early.

Giving this a "three star" review based upon the location which is very limited to tourists based on the area size. Parking was free (off season) but I am quite sure that during peak season it would get very congested with traffic and people making it difficult to get nice pictures. Vert picturesque location. Was told that the waters hold many shipwrecks which make it interesting for scuba diving.

Easy access to the Big Tub Lighthouse and very small place. It requires fee for parking. Three dollars per hour. It you are not swimming or kayaking, an hour stay is good enough.

Go early to get a (paid) parking space. Worth a visit, but we didn't stay very long. It would be a nice spot to spend a few hours, time permitting. We like to visit various lighthouses, so glad we could check this one off our list!

The place was not congested to visit. Ideal for oandemic. The water is crystal blue. My kids loves it even just for sitting near the water. I took a picture of the lighthouse and it looks perfect. I don't need to edit. Our 8 hours driving from Ottawa was worth it.

I have a Canada parking pass 2017, would I be able to use it when going to the lighthouse?

No. The parking at the lighthouse is a municipal toll. The
lighthouse is not on park property. There is limited parking at
the sight. There is roadside parking (pay only) but most is in
the roadside brush with little roadside shoulder. Because of the congestion, the municipality is trying to minimize parking because of emergency access.
