with a great view from up here, the best of the Castello is the panorama, while the construction itself has a lot of history, but is not as imposing as some others in the area. still worth the visit.

I really enjoyed learning about this relatively obscure (to the non Italian and French) aspect of Napoleon’s reign. The explanatory panels have mostly been translated into English. Cost is currently 3.5 euros.

Small but interesting, get the guide book for €1 as theres not much info. Big uneven steps to the top floor.

Napoleon's brother in law, Murat, was shot here, but seeing a few dummies representing him, his fellow prisoners and the court that tried him do not make the small entrance fee worthwhile.

A place full of history . If you are in Pizzo you should also visit this tourist attraction for only 3 eur / person entrance, children have free access.
