We did the day trip to Taha'a along with fishing. Visited vanilla plantation, pearl farm, rum distillery as well as lunch. Tours were very informative and lunch was delicious with a local family. We dodged in the way back to bora bora. Crew were very nice and took care of everything. Cause a marlin along with another fish. Very enjoyable day!

Honestly we were so excited about this excursion, we had planned it months in advance. As we boarded the boat you could already tell the captain and first mate were not in a good mood. Not only were we corrected constantly when we asked questions about the island we were told constantly this is a FISHING trip not a CATCHING trip. The captain played horrible music and the first mate complained about the island and his misfortunes. We had not a single bite but a boat ride, even when we spotted whales the captain would not turn the boat off so we could watch, he just kept on driving. If you like to fish and have fished before DO NOT use this company it will ruin any positive ideas of fishing you may have.

This was more than than a days fishing, for the first 3+ hours we fished beyond the reef, looking for game fish. The seabirds were all over, but the fish were not playing. We did however, see Dolphins together with a whale and calf. Following a stop for a delightful lunch, we continued fishing inside the reef. 2 fish hooked and a beautiful Blue fin Jack fish landed. Our skipper could not have worked harder and the Jack Fish made a wonderful evening meal. Will definitely return.

My husband and I went on a “fishing” trip with this company last week during our honeymoon. The only reason we’re even giving two stars is because the mate was awesome and the boat was beautiful. Apparently the boat we booked was broken so they put us on another one with a different. If you get a gentleman named Robert, run away don’t walk. He set the boat on auto pilot and played on his phone the ENTIRE time. We literally didn’t catch a SINGLE fish. Not even a nibble. Mind you, we paid for a FULL day excursion. The mate, Tepoe, who was apparently the captain of the boat we originally booked, was extremely knowledgeable, informative and even gave his opinion on the captains lack of knowledge/experience. Tepoe reset hooks and provided countless stories of the Tahitian culture that we loved. To top off our “wonderful” captains lack of personality, he kept hassling my husband about payment. When I went down to inform him that our credit card was given when we booked, he said “their machine was broken” and asked if I could pay cash. When I responded that we didn’t have that much cash on hand, his response was “oooo well how about you pay half and half?” I was shocked. You’re telling me the machine is broken so I’ll pay cash, yet the machine can miraculously charge half of it? Red flag alert!! I wish they would have let us know to begin with that we weren’t getting the same boat or captain we had booked. Robert is a great guy I’m sure, but completely lacks fishing knowledge, passion or anything boat related. Save your pennies and try any other company.

My husband and I had an amazing time on the Luna Sea with Captain Pearl and his son. We chose the 6 hour tour with an original plan to board the smaller striper boat but it was out of fleet. We're promptly picked up at the dock of our hotel right on time and headed out beyond the reef right away. They had the boat stocked with soda, waters and beer. We got a thorough rundown of the fighting chair before trolling. Captain Pearl not only taught us about fishing, but Tahitian culture, Bora Bora folklore and much much more. We had an awesome time learning from both he and his son. To top it off, we caught a 200+ pound Marlin and a skipjack tuna! We had a great time and will definitely book another trip next time we're in Bora Bora.
