Didier Sibani began his interest in Tahitian Black Pearls working alongside Coco Chaze on the atoll of Manihi in the Tuamotu Archipelago. In 1973, Sibani established himself as one of the pioneers of the Tahitian Pearl Industry. By 2001, the SIBANI Pearls group has grown to 69 boutiques around the world. At the heart of the Polynesian South Pacific, lies our flagship retail store in Vaitape, Bora Bora.

We create a local and comfortable atmosphere through our bamboo decor and friendly professional staff, whom are well educated in the history and value of the Tahitian Black Pearls. We pride ourselves in educating our clientele about every bit of the production process concerning the cultured pearl.

Our selection includes an overwhelming variety of pearls in all shapes, sizes and grades. Matched with pendants, earrings, and necklaces of silver or gold, we assist our clients to find their unique pearls, to highlight their unique persona.

Open from 9am to 6pm Monday through Saturday. Closed Sundays.

This is a great little shop on the island for Black Pearls. The young lady that helped us was very kind and patient. She allowed me to try on several necklaces and was very knowledgeable about the pearls. I feel that I received a quality piece of jewelry for a reasonable price.

We learned more about Tahitian pearls after shopping here than ever before. Yes, these pearls are expensive, but the quality is superb.

Dear Connie, First a big thanks for your nice message. Yes you can find cheaper Tahitian pearls outside the “Sibani Pearls Jewelry”. On the roadside, at the super market or even on some reel jewelries store that buy poor quality pearl at very low prices and use them like quality Pearls because after treatment they will seem outwardly beautiful. While on a Windstar Cruise we were told about Sibani Joaillier and when he came onboard to talk about what we need to know about pearls before you buy I had to go. Needless to say I'm very happy I did. Yuriko was professional yet friendly. She was patient and didn't pressure or rush us.. I love the pendent. Thanks

The time and effort that Mr. Sibani took to help us select earrings and a necklace was so appreciated, as was his explanation of what to do at the airport for the taxes. I love my pearls and they will always be a great moment of our honeymoon.

Mr. Sibani came aboard WindSpirit in Bora Bora to give an intimate talk regarding his history with pearls. It was very informative and you can clearly see how he loves these special 'babies'. I went with my husband the next day and Mr. Sibani took time to assist me in finding the perfect necklace for me by bringing out additional... More

Dear Roni Ia Orana e Maeva, Memorable customer service can only take place in a human-to-human situation. In Sibani Pearls we see our customers as invited guests to a party, and we are the hosts. It's our job to make the customer experience a little bit better and if you choose a jewel at US$ 30 or US$ 30 000... More

The staff on the Windstar cruise recommended Sibani pearls as the place to buy Tahitian black pearls. Yuriko from Sibani's gave great customer service helping my wife select a black pearl and diamond ring. She even stayed after business hours to complete the transaction, and she clearly explained the procedure to receive the VAT credit at the airport. My wife... More

Dear Guest, For over 45 years Sibani Perles remained the leader of the jewelry pearls from Tahiti. Our jewelry is made in Italy and not like usualy in our county in China and our prices are 30% lower than with the competition for the best quality pearls. But this is not our only secret. No. Before all we want to... More

Had a wonderful experience at Sibani Perles. Of all the stores in the town selling pearls, I really felt sense of honesty with the folks here. They were not trying to sell me the most expensive pearls in the shop. Very knowledgable and extremely helpful in explaining what's most important when selecting a pearl. Found exactly what I wanted, and... More
