About
Didier Sibani began his interest in Tahitian Black Pearls working alongside Coco Chaze on the atoll of Manihi in the Tuamotu Archipelago. In 1973, Sibani established himself as one of the pioneers of the Tahitian Pearl Industry. By 2001, the SIBANI Pearls group has grown to 69 boutiques around the world. At the heart of the Polynesian South Pacific, lies our flagship retail store in Vaitape, Bora Bora. We create a local and comfortable atmosphere through our bamboo decor and friendly professional staff, whom are well educated in the history and value of the Tahitian Black Pearls. We pride ourselves in educating our clientele about every bit of the production process concerning the cultured pearl. Our selection includes an overwhelming variety of pearls in all shapes, sizes and grades. Matched with pendants, earrings, and necklaces of silver or gold, we assist our clients to find their unique pearls, to highlight their unique persona. Open from 9am to 6pm Monday through Saturday. Closed Sundays.

My husband and I recently visited Sibani Perles during our honeymoon in Bora Bora. We both love black pearls and we were very excited to take some time in Vaitape to explore the different options and hopefully make a purchase. We had no idea what a wonderful experience was in store for us when we walked into Sibani. We were fortunate enough to be met by Didier Sibani himself and given a very informational and comprehensive education about pearls. He took his time to walk us through the complete process and also answered all our questions. He was so warm, friendly and THE expert on pearls. He then helped us look at various pearls for purchase based on our unique interests as well as taking into account what might look good for each of us. He was assisted by Caroline who was equally warm and helpful, we enjoyed working with her very much. They both took out dozens of options, explaining each one and demonstrating so much passion that it made us incredibly grateful that we had walked into that store. Overall the experience exceeded all expectations. Not only did we make a wonderful and beautiful purchase but we also formed a connection with some incredible people. We are so thankful for our experience at Sibani and look forward to returning soon!

The store is inviting and has beautiful selections. We were looking for a pendant with specific colors and this store had the colors we were looking for. Jade, the shop manager, was awesome. Our experience was very easy going and very relaxed. With our conversations, she knew what we would like and helped pinpoint the right styles. We hope to visit again and get matching earrings next time.

In our shop windows, we only display exceptional jewellery and pearls that are different from the models generally found in many stores. We were lucky and got to meet the owner. He is so passionate about pearls and spent some time educating us. It was fantastic.

I visited all the shops which sell pearls in Vaitape, Bora Bora, even though Sibani Perles was recommended to me. I bought a Grade A, teal, 9 1/2 mm pearl from Sibani Perles because the sales person, Jade was so patient, kind, knowledgeable, and not pushy. Thank you for helping me find the most beautiful pearl on the island of Bora Bora for me. Your advice was perfect-buy the pearl you love, and have it put into a white gold setting that you also love, when you return home. Here is the finished piece that I will treasure forever.Â

Beware of this store. I purchased a very simple braclet with two small pearls and was told that the price was 98.00 U.S.D. This company debited my account for $1,083.14. My bank says that there is nothing that I can do.

I am really sorry to learn that the confusion is made on the prices of our jewelry. This is the reason why each one of our labels all prices listed are in Pacific Francs, US$ and Euro.
In addition we indicate on each invoice the amount of the purchase in the local currency of the customer and for you $ US.
Also at the back of our bills in our selling conditions we indicate that we accept to refund you 100% during all your stay in the French territory if any regret.
We realy respect our clients and always find the best solutions that for our customers are satisfied with our services and collections.

Pioneers in the realm of Tahitian Pearls yet supremely warm, nice, and friendly! NO pressure! Eager to please! You'll get an education while feeling warm and welcome the whole time! Life is not cheap ... but their prices are fair and reasonable for exceptionally high quality keepsake worthy pearls! No matter what you can afford, they have a precious pearl just for you!

Here is a very nice message that warms us for the rest of our day. Yes pioneer of pearl farming in Polynesia since 1969, we celebrate this year my 50 years of love with pearl and pearl jewel of Tahiti. All our pearls stay 5 years in the water instead of a few months for most farms and that's why we are the only ones who can guarantee our pearls for life. Our crops are also among the most important and this allows us to offer the best quality and the most beautiful colours. We are looking forward to your fourth trip to our islands and send you our friendship.

My husband & I were visiting Bora Bora for our 50th birthdays (Bucket list/Dream trip). We wanted pearls from Bora Bora to mark the occasion. After researching many places, we decided on Sibani. We couldn't have made a better choice! Yuriko was AWESOME! I had something in mind that I wanted & she gently guided me to a pearl bracelet that suited me style and color wise much more than what I pictured in my head. Yuriko helped my husband pick out the perfect bracelet for him as well. She was very knowledgeable, patient & not pushy at all. She really knows her stuff! She was also training a young lady who helped with our check out. The young lady was just learning & she did just fine...no problems.
The directions for clearing customs with our jewelry was thoroughly explained & also printed out for us.
We had a wonderful experience purchasing our pearl bracelets to remind us of our time here. We HIGHLY recommend Sibani Perle Bora Bora (and Yuriko).

You made reference to the good spirit that reigns in our jewelries. This mindset belongs to the DNA of the house Sibani Pearls since its origins. Unpretentious, when I see what has become of the jewelry industry in French Polynesia, I can say that our company is an exception. This dynamic is embodied in our way of being and not published.
We build a special relationship with our customer, which enables us to advise them in their purchases. A kind of family doctor of yesteryear. We do advise them with the jewelry we like and we are certain of the quality. Jewelry that we understand perfectly and would buy for ourselves. Yuriko is our shop manager and she will be very happy by your nice comment.

I recently purchased a Tahitian pearl necklace at Sibani Perles in Bora Bora. After looking at many stores, I found a style I liked and the price was fair. They had a good selections of pearls set in silver which are still beautiful, but much more affordable. The sales person was very helpful and not too pushy as in some stores. I recommend that you take a look at what they have to offer.

Yes so many clients say that we are really cheaper and have the best collection of jewels in French Polynesia. That why we always get the prize of the best jewelry shop in French Polynesia by the Bora Bora Tourism Advisor and we are very proud for that. Present in 23 different countries with 69 Jewelry shops we must to stay at the high level of quality prices and services. Our silver collections are made in Italy and not in China as usually the ones we find in our country. We thank you for your confidence and hope to see you again in one of our stores.

We stopped at this port in Bora Bora on a cruise. We had snorkeled in the morning and returned to the shops to find some pearls. We had also visited a couple of pearl farms previously, but did not find anything suitable. We were in and out of 6 or 7 stores in Bora Bora but just did not feel comfortable in them. In fact, I had tried on a string in one store that was too short. They offered to extend the string and to come back in an hour. We walked out as we were not comfortable. We continued on our journey and then landed at Sibani. The store is kind of at the end of the road. Don't ignore it because of that.
The Chinese girl that served us was awesome. She was very polite, spoke perfect English and was very very helpful. She was patient well we checked out the pearls and she explained what to look for as we were not exactly sure. She was great and there was no pressure or hustling. We purchased a pearl necklace. She explained the duty free process and how to turn in the forms at the airport when we departed. We were also provided with the certification.
We thanked her profusely for all her help and wished her well. She made our day and of course and we were extremely happy with our purchase. The customer service provided was outstanding.

In fact it depends on the type of bracelet you are looking for. Prices are currently starting around $ 100 and this is up to several thousand dollars.
We have bracelets all pearls or only with some and bracelets in silver or gold with pearls.
For our 50th anniversary (1969/2019) we made 100 pearl bracelets made with only pearls that we offer with 50% discount. This to give the opportunity to our customers to afford a beautiful bracelet. The first prizes are around $ 300.
I am sure you will find the bracelet of your dreams in our collections.

I just received a message regarding your demande of transportation between Raiatea and Bora Bora and if I do not make any mistake we only have two other ways to joint Bora Bora from Raiatea.
Rent a Raitea a sailboat or take the Hawaiki Nui boat.
For rent sailboats, if this solution please to you I will agree you gladly provide charter companies contacts. Regarding the "Hawaiki Nui" boat: Attention this boat is primarily a cargo ship. So do not expect luxury cruises !!!
