We took the morning snorkel tour with David and had the most memorable snorkeling experience of our life! Bora Bora has the best snorkeling in the world and David made sure we saw everything. We swam with Manta Rays and Eagle Rays in warm, crystal clear waters filled with the most stunning colors of coral, clams and fish. David was informative, charming and very eco conscience and with great respect for the natural wonders of Bora Bora waters. We were part of a group of six adults on a beautiful, new, sleek boat which was so luxurious compared to the larger groups we saw on commercial crafts that looked cramped and uncomfortable. H20 Bora Bora prices were a great value and hubby and I highly recommend their tours. If we return to Bora Bora, we will tour with them again. Their website is user friendly and Aimee was a pleasure to communicate with via email to plan our day and very responsive to every question and request. Just book this tour ... you won't regret it!

Hello. We are very flattered by your review and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to write it for us. Particularly at this time when we have been forced to close our business due to Covid 19 (like so many others!).
Whilst we are enjoying spending our guilt free time at home with our daughter we are also looking forward to getting back to the ocean, it's inhabitants and to see how this whole situation has changed the face of the lagoon here in Bora Bora.

Communicated quickly from booking to pick up at the dock..
The boat was immaculate, comfortable, spacious and allowed for sun or shade..snorkel spots are outstanding and the views of the island were worth the price alone..and embroidered H2O towels were a real plus..

We did an introductory dive with our two teenagers - what a great experience ! All conducted calmly and professionally, with the great instruction we had a couple of excellent dives. The boys were at ease and comfortable the whole time. With manta rays swiming over us on one dive and then with sharks on the next it was Bora Bora in all its glory! Highly recommend trip.

Second year and third outing with H20 and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. They know where to go, they know how to treat the marine environment the right way (not feeding fish, which is terrible for the environment and we saw others doing), spotless boat, and a great captain and guide in Wilson to show us the way. Really nice to have a boat to yourself rather than the big tours.

We enjoyed our tour with H20. Rudolph worked so hard to find the perfect spots for us. Checked out the sting rays, beautiful corals and many fish. The scooters are so much fun. Made a strong current easy. It was a rough day on the water, and he made an extra effort to show us as much as possible. The last stop, the Aquarium, was special.

Just returned from my second trip to the paradise of Bora Bora. This year I wanted to try and snorkel with the manta rays. I booked on line before arriving and David and Amy were personable and very responsive to my questions. They even agreed to do a ‘manta dance’ with me in hopes they would show up! I did not get the guides name, but day of excursion, they were prompt to get us at Maitai dock. Boat was comfortable, clean, and fast. When we got to the ‘cleaning station’ and got in the water, he said just to wait. Within minutes, the first huge manta swam from below. I was overjoyed. But there was another one, then 2 together!! What?!?! It was awesome to see a total of 7 mantas just slowly swimming. My photos turned out great! We then went to the coral gardens which was beautiful and so vibrant. Then he went to a spot and could see the large group of eagle rays about 25 feet below (how the neck he saw that I gave no clue)…great to just hover above them and share their space for a bit.
Overall an awesome experience and I cannot say enough about this intimate experience (6 on board) and how incredible everything was-
Amy and David had great communication for all the booking and payment stuff and I wish I could’ve met them-
This is a must do!!!

We took a tour of the lagoon with H2O Bora Bora and it’s really an experience that we recommend.
We contacted Aimée by e-mail, we appreciated the clarity of the information and the friendliness in the exchanges.
David picked us up from our accommodation and we picked up other passengers on the way. He took us back to the starting point after the exit.
The boat is very comfortable, I would say that of all our sea trips it was the most beautiful we have had, it is modern and in very good condition. The navigation was smooth and we took advantage of the beautiful shades of blue of the lagoon, even if the sky was a little overcast, the conditions for going into the water were good.
David took us to see manta rays, leopard rays and the magnificent coral garden, he really took great care of us and for anyone who is not comfortable in the water, like me, I cannot What advice do you have about going out with them? Nothing better than David's extreme kindness to give you confidence and thus be able to enjoy this magnificent place.
The group we went out with was made up of very friendly people which made for a great visit.

First of all on the quality of the boat, it was superb excellent equipment, Captain very attentive, competent, kind. A well-framed organization with all the explanations about the lagoons and its wildlife. I highly recommend this company which is a small family business dedicated entirely to pleasure at sea.

David took us out snorkeling and took us to multiple sites and got in the water with us to help us have the best experience ever. I have been on many snorkeling trips across the world and have never had this kind of hands on engaged experience. His wife answered my questions on email right away. By far the highlight of Bora Bora

I am not the best swimmer. I can swim from A to B, but cannot tread in water and was never in deep water. Can I still enjoy this snorkeling experience?

I think so. You can ask for a life vest so you can feel more comfortable about floating over the coral reefs or in deep water over the rays. If you can practice with a mask and snorkel before you go that will also help. If that’s not possible try renting the gear from your hotel and try them in shallow water. You’re in for a treat!

Curious if it's generally better to snorkel in the am or pm? Want to see as much marine life as possible, especially bigger stuff. And less people the better at the different snorkel stops :)

Myself and Husband are arriving by cruise ship on the 02 April 2020 and have booked to do your half day morning snorkeling tour and then take a 4wd tour at 1.00pm. My questions are:
1) I've had hip replacements and I'm restricted to 90 degrees bend. Is the ladder provided for entering and exiting the water long enough to be able to get back on the boat?
2) Can we be picked up and dropped off at the Viatape Pier?
3) We have booked a 4wd tour for 1.00pm, would we be back in time for that?

Thanks for your message. In response to your questions :
1. Yes the ladder is sufficiently long for you to be able to get out of the water comfortably. Thank you 456pathfinder for also replying:)
2. Yes we pick you up and drop you off at the main dock in Vaitape where the cruise ship tenders drop you off. Start time for the tour is usually 8:30-8:45 am. Looks as though the 2 April 2020 will be your second day in Bora so start time will most likely be 8:30 am. Drop off will be around midday to 12:30 at the latest so.....
3. You will be back in good time for the start of your 4x4 tour :)

Les profondeurs vont de 2 m à environ 15-20 mètres à l’extérieur de la barrière de corail sur le remontant . Des gilets sont disponibles si vous ne vous sentez pas à l'aise aux profondeurs plus importantes. Après c'est une question de confiance en soi. Mais c'est magnifique

We can do the pictures for you during the excursion and give you the micro sd card at the end. The price is 40 usd.

With our small group boat we even manage to be out at sea before a lot of other excursions : ) ahaha

Hello again :) - generally we do a minimum of 4 stops. As we have only small groups - maximum 4 people we often manage to do more than 4 stops but this also depends on individual ability.
We are a new company - we are just entering our second year so with a few more reviews hopefully we will climb further up the rankings :) The system of Tripadvisor rankings remains a mystery ;)

Hello - thanks for your query. Our 4 hour tour costs 10,000 xpf / 100 USD for a shared boat. You can also secure the boat as private for 20,000 xpf / 200 USD per person.
Unfortunately, we will be away from the island at the time you will be in Bora. We are on vacation and as we are a small family run business we have had to close the shop. We will miss you by just 2 days! We hope you have a great time in Bora Bora. All the best. David and Aimee. H2O Bora Bora.
