The Orgiva Tea Garden at the Las Chimeneas finca has evolved from a barren patch of land that had been abandoned for over 30 years into a beautiful tranquil garden split over three very different levels and covering about 5000 sq m. The philosophy...more

Having promised ourselves a visit to these gardens on our previous vacation in the Costa Tropical area but sadly never made it, this year we made an extra effort. My goodness it was worth it! What a fantastic peaceful oasis of beauty and tranquility. The...More

Hi Hilary4Jack Absolutely gutted to hear that our 11/10 mark has been demoted, quite understandably, down to just a 10/10. The kitchen staff have all been docked a month’s wages and received a verbal warming. Otherwise, chuffed that you finally found us and had such...More

Memorable visit - the garden was perfect, lunch was great and the guitarist made it even more special. Kay and Bernard could not have made us more welcome bringing out a rug and toys to entertain our 12 month granddaughter. A perfect day.

A very special place to visit with a lovely welcome to a peaceful garden with interesting plants and beautiful flowers. Enjoying delicious rolls while listening to traditional Spanish guitar made for a truly memorable day. I hope to be back.

Hi Phil Wow, thanks for the great review and so glad you had such a good time. Yes, it’s a fair amount of work to maintain the garden but we have a great set of volunteers and then on top of that when we have...More

The energy and imagination of Bernie and Kay who have created this garden from nothing, is extraordinary. Two lovely people who share it by opening it to the general public outside the Winter months. Go to sit on the lawn in the sunshine under a...More

Another instance of regretting that one cannot award SIX stars. Truly life affirming, inspirational, relaxing. You might start with the album of photographs which show how the property was back in 2004 when Kay and Bernard purchased their 'home', then look around you to see...More
