It's like a little, unexpected treasure chest, beautifully maintained. Even on a chilly, deserted Sunday morning in January, it oozed charm. I'll just have to return in the summer and sit at one of its cafés with a glass of cold cava!

The Spanish take this sort of square for granted but it is well worth taking time out to see it. Within the stone flagged square is the town hall, some bars and a great deal of history.
