On the express way to the south you find this statue, resembling a typical country family from the last century!

Is a good place to rest a little bit for a while, you can we a great view of the mountains. Check you're car fluids and coolant test you're feet for a while and then continue you're journey :)

Beautiful view and full of memories. Looking around and see the beauty of the mountains. Pepple enjoying the moments and sharing things,to eat a sandwich and drink a cold nice soda or taking pictures.
My island and the Monument are part of my story.

Monument like this deserver better care
Even it is a real nice monument to El Jibaro the most important part of our history and our past this monument deserve better care and keep the area clean. This place turn into a landfills. Is must people to blame but it should paid more attention by the govetment

A nice stop in you way to salinas

I have stop in this place many times since I travel to the south part of PR very often. I love to admire the place and the view and it is also a nice stop to take a break when driving to Salinas. It is worth to stop by and admire the view!

This statue is right on the highway. If you blink you definitely miss it. No fee to see or park. Very solidarity, be careful. Must do during the day.

This is a monument of the puertorican culture, el jibaro is located in rest area from Cayey to Salinas road #52. No need to stop you can see it as you go. But if you want you can stop by the rest area and admire the view as you can also see las tetas of Cayey historical maintains. Good historical site.

Nice pit stop

Is a good pit stop if your are not a costumed to long drives and a safe place to stop for a stretch and also enjoy the view of the mountains.

Its a nice statue. The only thing is it's on the highway and the statue is fenced. I believe it would look even better if they would of colored the statue.
