Over 30 sculptures and paintings, primarily by local and regional artists, have been artfully placed in a garden setting, over two terraces overlooking the nearby valley. Flowering shrubs and trees compliment the art, creating a sense of tranquility. The owners have consulted local artists, sometimes commissioned special pieces, to fit the garden. it all reflects the tastes of well-travelled and gracious Marianne and Marten. This exhibition is open 17 April - 1 Oct., Thurs and Sat or by prior appt. A short drive from Fayence. Lovely art, beautiful setting, gracious hosts.

We stopped by impromptu and was given a wonderful tour of Mariam of her beautiful garden. She is a Dutch lady now living in Provence and has created a hidden gem of beautiful sculptures and paintings from local artists. She was so friendly, informative. A must stop if you have time.

A lot of work has gone into this private garden which complements the sculptures that have been found from all across the world.
The owner was kind enough to take our family on a tour without notice and was very pleasant and knowledgeable about her sculptures.

In a quiet corner of Fayence you will find this beautiful, terraced garden with different forms of art: not only sculptures in wood or bronze, but also works in different painting-techniques, works on paper, ceramics. All by internationally known artists. The terraces have been decorated with long rows of fragrant, red roses and beautiful trees.
There is also a roof that brings you shadow, a place to relax and reflect on the artworks and enjoy the great view over the Fayence Valley. Marianne can take you along all the artpieces and tell you about the artists and their works. It will take you about 1 hour.
