With signage on the main walking road, this museum is a good chance to learn about premium crystal history and production, with wording in several languages.

If you like looking at lovely glassware in a quiet spot and have a half hour or more to spare, do visit this museum. It's only two floors. When we were there, there was a special exhibition of colourful modern glass sculptures, beautifully placed around the museum. There was a history of glassmaking in Colle Val d'Elsa, and displays of glassware through the centuries. A lot of thought had gone into the design and displays, with interesting cascades of glassware here and there. There was a lovely small 'crystal mirror maze' with atmospheric background music and tinkling glasses.

Loads to see and even feel how the different engravings are made in the glasswork. Didnt realise how big Colle di val dÉlsa was in crystal glass making.
