A really lovely bookshop in a small fabulous town. So unusual to find such a good selection of English (and other nationality) books plus a charming and knowledgeable owner. Really looking forward to going back in the summer

As a Montalcino resident and wine professional I love this book shop with its eclectic selection of books - also in English. Nowadays it is easy to buy books online but you cannot beat browsing in a real book shop and getting interesting suggestions for your next read from a dedicated well read owner. The antiquarian wine book totally blew me away! Gotta go back and browse some more

Small but great bookshop, where you can find the perfect book to read in your trip in Tuscany.
I always love small book shop, I find them more cosy and relaxing, it is also easier to find what you are looking for.
This is indeed a very cosy place and the bookseller Simone will help you in your choice. He is an eclectic man that can also officiate at your wedding in the wonderful setting of Bagno Vignoni if you like so.

I've beeen there in november. Is located in the main square with a nice view. The bookshop have a large selection and the owner is a professional and kind guy. Ask him some tips to discover val d'orcia secrets.

We discovered Bagno on our way to Montecino. We never got to Montecino. We stopped at a vineyard on the way and the woman told us to head to Bagno Vigione, so we did. This book shop was a great little find, but the town is what was special. No more than a 30 minute stop is needed, unless you grab a lunch - which we did. Then it was off to the next town.

For anyone travelling around, holidaying in or passing through Tuscany, this splendid little bookshop in Bagno Vignoni in the Val d'Orcia deserves a special visit. It is a real joy to find such a comprehensive, well stocked and well run bookshop anywhere, but in rural Italy it is a little miracle. Here, adults and children can roam shelves bursting with interesting and captivating books and then peruse them in the comfort of arm chairs and sofas. Expertly managed by the engaging Simone Gallerani, this is a treasure trove not only of books but also of cards, stationery, games and interesting objets d'art.

We passed through Bagno Vignoni on our way to Florence. My daughter was so excited to find a bookstore with lots of YA choices in English. The owner was helpful and friendly; while my kids browsed, he gave me plenty of tips about the area, directions to local points of interest, and information about some local villages, wines, and things to see. I was so happy we stopped in!

This is an excellent bookshop situated in the heart of this most wonderful and well preserved medieval Terme. It has a good stock of English as well Italian books and a good children's section of beautifully illustrated book. I recommend this place to visit if you are in the area. You will be well rewarded!

Very old stopover on the way to Ancient Rome. Well kept with plenty of restaurants and hotels with access to the hot water the area is known for. Parking is close and not much climbing stairs required.
