Milford Sound Experience Full Day from Queenstown
619 reviews
Cruising Milford Sound is among New Zealand’s most spectacular activities, but the mountain scenery that lines the coast is just as gorgeous. Experience both on this full-day trip from Queenstown, traveling through the heart of Fiordland National Park, and then cruising all the way to the edge of the Tasman Sea. An included Kiwi-style barbecue lunch completes the excursion, which includes plenty of sightseeing stops throughout the day.

We walked a portion of this track with a naturalist from Trips & Tramps who pointed out a number of unusual plants that would have gone unnoticed if not for his expertise. We were also lucky enough to see a pair of Morepork Owls in the wild, as well as Kea and Wood Robins. The

Kia ora Somatoxi Thanks so much for taking the time to place a review on your recent Hollyford Track 3 Day Experience, we're thrilled to hear you found this to be one of your best NZ experiences! We're certainly lucky to operate in such a beautiful and remote part of the country and to have a very passionate team who love sharing their knowledge with our guests. We would definitely agree the podocarp forest is something special to behold, as is the scenic heli into Milford. Thanks again for your comments, we wish you safe travels. Ngāi mihi Lucy

Stunning walk, incredible views second to none. The secluded beaches to swim at and the conclusion of every day walking was a highlight. However the DOC needs to improve with track maintaining as many fallen trees (non-guided walk area) which are difficult to clamber over. Also

Kia ora Imogen B Thanks for taking the time to place a review on your recent Hollyford experience. It sounds like you walked the track independently rather than on one of our guided walks, but we would have to agree that this is a stunning walk with incredible views. Some good insight regarding the more challenging parts of the trail in the non-guided section - that's why we steer clear of those sections! Thanks and safe travels. Ngā mihi Lucy

Stepping into the dramatic Hollyford Valley is like entering a world that’s remained largely unchanged for thousands of years. Geologically spectacular and ever changing, the sheer diversity of vegetation and wildlife in this one valley is truly unparalleled and makes for an

This proved to be a very worthwhile and enjoyable excursion. We did it the 'luxury' way with Ngai Tahu Tourism and from the outset were impressed with the thorough organisation and the friendliness of all the staff. Our guides were first class, caring and informative, and we
