Mitre Peak and the Milford sounds are just majestic. To be able to see such incredible scenery in our own country makes us very lucky indeed. Everyone should try to get there at least once - I fell in love with it!

This is an absolutely lovely peak, that - depending on the weather - you can view while taking a cruise in Milford sound.
The peak is covered with ice several months a year, but even watching it bare was a beautiful experience.
